it's late and i should be going to bed but all i can think about is how people react to cartman doing bad things vs any of the other kids doing bad things
#as if this is literally not a show about kids doing some fucked up shit#south park is built on the foundation of everyone being shitty and at the same time everyone has some merit to them#at least imo it's what makes the show so compelling to watch#cuz people aren't always nice and kind and presentable and easily befriendable#sometimes ppl are messy and fucked up and can't handle their own emotions and lash out at everyone around them#yes i am projecting on the south park kids a little bit#a lotta bit actually#but listen i was a rotten kid and how many people can look back on who they used to be and argue that they weren't also rotten#at least to some degree#you might think u were a nice normal kid#but i guarantee u at least one mfer out there remembers you when your primary language was hate and that is all u will ever be to them#anyways tldr calm down stan is still being stan he isn't ooc just cuz he sucks at being a bf
