Ian ripped the paper, revealing a mug reading: World’s Okayest Husband. He snorted. “Touching.”

Inside the mug was a leather collar and a note: Check the bedroom.

“This some kinky sex-thing?”

“No, dumbass. Just go.”

Ian darted to the bedroom and froze. A scruffy mutt leapt off the bed, tail wagging. Smiling, Ian knelt. “You got us a dog?!”

“Yeah, well,” Mickey said, leaning in the doorway. "I can't be the only one shakin' his ass at you when you get home."
