#two years of that is such an insular existence I'm really trying to wrap my head around that#like can you imagine only talking to basically ONE person for two years?#this is an upgrade for laudna after ~30 years of isolation#but how does that impact imogen? who I suppose has also been pretty isolated but not for nearly the same length of time or as severely#like that's kind of WILD#even caleb and nott were only six months of traveling together. and that was a HUGE upgrade for both of them#but their isolation was so predicated on desperation and fear in a way imogen and laudna's isn't. I&L's feels more like...discomfort?#imogen is fleeing discomfort and laudna is kinda along for the ride because she finally has some companionship#anyway. wild. that's a really long time to talk to nobody else really (sans incidentals like Zhudanna)#cr3e2#sifting for gold c3 rewatch
