the way i'm currently getting my ass kicked by middle school french grammar 😬
#the thing about me is that i instinctively write with very little grammar/spelling mistakes in french#so my teenage self being at her peak arrogant basically refused to learned the rules of french grammar 'because i didn't need it'#and now i'm trying to learn lating and i'm all fucked#generally i would joke about wanting to beat the shit out of my teenage self#but honestly she was going throught a lot and anger and violence would just have made me even more determined to not learn it#so i would probably just try to be honest and explain to her why it's actually useful#which...i kinda resent the fact that nobody told me that those rules can become super important if you're trying to learn another language#but then again i was skipping so many classes that whatever teacher taught us that might very well have mentionned it when i wasn't there#(then again i didn't skipped that many french classes so who knows)#anyway i'm one week in and this semester is already kicking my ass#pray for me guys
