also i finally got a complaint from the lab instructor abt the font i used in my lab report, which makes sense since it looks like this:
when times new roman looks like this:
#looking at them side-by-side like this i feel like they're not That different at first glance#but he complained abt readability which makes sense since this one is a bit smaller by default compared to times new roman#plus the kerning isn't as nice; so the font i used (niew cromagnon) is definitely less legible at a smaller scale n in large blocks#like the pdf looks simultaneously fuzzy and incredibly new. like the font looks like it belongs in some crusty old thing#but the fact that the lines of text are all perfectly straight n square rather than slightly tilted bc that's just how scanning pages goes#makes it feel unnervingly new at the same time. it's like art lol#the worm speaks
