Dragon Prince must be a very enjoyable show if you enjoy Rayla and Callum as a ship so much...and if not, it's low key insufferable

‘Tis the season to be jolly, my fellow Stydia shippers. This year is coming to an end and a new beginning fast approaches and I, for one, am thankful for all the good things I’ve experienced this year and for everything that I’ve learned from the bad.
Writing hasn’t been a priority of mine lately but I’m still very proud of all that I’ve accomplished so far, and I feel like celebrating it.
Stydia has been on my mind these past few days, and I’m hoping to get back into writing for them again once my finals are over. I’ve missed writing for you guys too.
To reminisce, here are all of my holiday-themed Stydia fics for you to enjoy this merry winter.
I wish you the happiest of holidays, and the best new year ❤
A Christmas Dare - She had it all figured out. She was going to kiss him and he was going to kiss her back. She’d tell him it was a dare and they’d pretend everything was the same and their friendship would still be intact, as they always seem to do. She thought of all possible scenarios. What she definitely did not consider was that Stiles wouldn’t want to kiss her back.
Blundering quarrels - For the prompt: “Stiles and Lydia are moving in together and they start to fight about little things and Lydia ends up making Stiles sleep in the couch. But when the night comes she can't sleep alone in the bed and, in the middle of the night, she goes to the couch and sleeps with him there.”
Drabble #5 - “Why are you so annoying?” - Lydia wants Stiles' jacket, he doesn’t want to give it to her. Or Stiles and Lydia bicker at a coffee shop.
Early Christmas Kiss - Stiles convinces Lydia to take a much needed break from studying.
Drabble #18 – “Are you sure this is legal?” - Stiles is willing to break a few rules if it makes Lydia happy.
An unexpected Christmas - Stiles and Lydia spend their first Christmas together when a misfortune doesn’t allow them go home for the holidays. It ends up being just what they needed.

For those of you who have watched Season 3
Does anyone else feel like this season was too rushed? I loved quite a bit of it, i feel like too much of it was just thrown at us. Like Allura getting the blue lion, for example: other than getting it in the previous versions, there was no foreshadowing of her ever getting a lion or why she got the blue. Continuing on with Allura, let's talk about her bayard: a whip. First of all: why a whip? We've seen her fight in action before, with a stick/pole; and I think she did a pretty darn good job with it. So why change her weapon now? Not to mention, they didn't even bother showing us her weapon until we see her in action rather than when Lance gives it to her. Why? Speaking of Lance, he's got the red lion now, along with its bayard. I'll start with the lion. This is actually done well. Despite the fandom loving it, I'm not a fan of Klance; not romantically at least. I, personally, see it as more of a bromance. However, I think that all klance and non klance shippers alike can agree that it was an awesome bonding moment between the two when Keith took over as black and lance in red as his right hand (haha literally). It was done very well, and I love that. Now onto his bayard: did anyone happen to notice that it changed its shape? As blue, it was thicker and more compact; now, it's more of a sniper rifle. I'm not sure if this was just a decision change or if this has something to do with Lance's development, but it's really unclear as to why it changed. I think that it changing due to development is a great idea, but we don't know if bayards can actually change their shape. Allura never said anything about that possibility and it's not even touched on. Moving on. Let's talk about shiro. Oh boy, this one's a doozy. I was kind of expecting that shiro wouldn't be seen until the end of the season at the earliest. Yet, we see him a little over halfway into the season. Oh and guess what: he was caught by the Galra, escaped with a pod, and has memory loss! AGAIN. Are you serious?? The first time this happened I didn't like it, it was simply there for plot device, no other reasonable reason for no memory. And yet, here he is AGAIN with memory loss. Sure, there could actually be a reason this time for memory loss. Though shiro doesn't know it, he's a part of some experiment with the galra that's in its third stage. But it's honestly just really repetitive. If they hadn't done it before, I'd probably really enjoy it. Also, exactly how long has shiro been missing? We don't know any time amounts, but I doubt that it was enough for his hair to grow that long. Does anyone remember Sven? Yeah, the original blue lion pilot from the 84 series! If you remember, he got hurt badly my Hagar and had to leave, which opened a spot for Allura. Now, they replaced Sven with our Shiro. And yet, turns out that they couldn't resist themselves and decided to put Sven in anyways. Turns out, all that reality mumbo-jumbo Slav always talked about is real. Yay? I guess I'm fine with the whole "alternate reality" thing, which has been used a lot before in other series, but why bring back Sven? There was literally no point in having a Japanese guy (Shiro) talk with a Norwegian accent in an alternate reality. I'm aware this isn't really a huge deal, but I'm not the happiest about this season. As for the actual alternate realities, I'm actually really impressed with their creativity with it. It can be an overused subject, but they did really well with it. I'm still slightly confused on the comet and what that slimy creature was (it kind of looked like Endless from Rave Master to me), as I'm sure many of us are, but I'm sure that will be explained in a later season. It was really cool for me to finally see Alfor and Zarkon's past. Honestly, I was surprised to find out that each Paladin was a different species. And that the green one was also a girl. I guess it doesn't like guys XD. Sorry, bad joke. Anyways, to none of our surprise, Zarkon fell in love with an Altean woman, who can assumed to be Hagar. Zarkon has a typical playground crush then eventually marries the woman. As she finds out more about the strange reality rift, she gets more shut off from the world and deeper into her experiments, even making her cat immortal with quintessence (how do you spell that??) and bringing in a dangerous alien. First of all, sorry I just have to say it: I TOTALLY CALLED IT. I knew that's how Zarkon lived that long! You have no idea how much I screamed when I saw that scene. YESSSSS!!! *cough* Sorry, continuing now. We see from the enlarged marks on her face that this woman is indeed Hagar. Big surprise! However, because of her experimenting and exposer, she gets really sick, which leads Zarkon to putting her directing into the quintessence, making both him and her immortal. Because of what Zarkon did, Alfor destroys Zarkon's planet. After this, Zarkon goes into a power rage and destroys Alfor's planet, then Alfor himself. Back to the current time, we find out that Haggar had no memory of being his husband. Wait, stop. WHAT. WHAT? More memory loss?? Are you KIDDING me?? Why would she have memory loss? After 10,000 years, not a single memory of any of this? Yet Zarkon seems to remember just fine. Although we can't say for certain he remembers having a wife, he sure remembered using Voltron to open the rift. I just can't believe they added more memory loss to this thing. I'm going to be honest, I was really disappointed when I watched this season. Maybe it was because I watched it once the day literally started at midnight, or maybe because I set my expectations too high. But I really felt like they did everything while doing nothing at the same time. Of course, their were several moments where I was super happy to see the gang back in action, but I just expected more, I guess. One thing I was upset about there not being: anything about Galra Keith. We got a lot of that last season, yet not even a mention in this one. There was that mention of seeing that weblum galra again, but nothing on Keith. Another thing: didn't Allura use magic last time?? Like Hagar's magic?? Why was that never brought up? I think that something like that is pretty important, don't you? Why is it that whenever there's a big reveal moment, they cut it out? Examples: when Keith had to come back in season 2 and tell everyone he was Galra, we never actually saw him tell them, they just knew in the next scene; Keith finds Shiro and brings him back, yet we don't get to see this glorious reunion between them and their leader. Why? I don't know about you guys, but that's something I would love to see. Look, I'm sorry that I'm bashing on the newest season when it just came out. I should be bouncing off the walls with joy, yet I'm not. I just had really high expectations on this and it didn't really pull through. I know this isn't an actually review (maybe I'll make one later), but I hope you've enjoyed both this and the newest season! Until next time!
