1. Favourite gymnast(s) this quad?

It is early on the quad, and the only gymnast I’ve been loving and has been “discovered” during this quad is Alex Airgiuculese. I love other gymnasts, but they have been competing internationally for longer

4. Most iconic routine(s)?

Unfair. 

If I go with classic, Bessonova becoming world champion with her AA hoop at Patras 2007 (x). 

If I go by pure beauty, Barsukova ball at the Sydney Olympics (x). 

If I go for absolute musical acuracy, Dilyana Georgieva ball 1985 (x). 

If I go fuck you Kabaeva, Batyrchina ball at the Atlanta 1996 AA (x).

Honorable mentions:

- Carolina Pascual earning silver medal at the home Olympics (Bacelona) after everything she had to go through (x)

- Alexandra Timoshenko with her iconic “Dirty Diana” ribbon with original Deriugina style (x)

- Teodora Alexandrova, one of the greatest performers in RG, at the peak of her career in Oksaka worlds, and the crowd loving everything about her (x). Also the routine that made her fall down the rankings, but is amazing nonetheless (x)

- Alina Maksimenko proving she wasn’t finished in 2013 with a gold medal worthy routine in the Hoop final at the Kiev WC (x)

- Ganna Rizatdinova in her most underrated routine imo. Ball at London 2012 (x)

- Natalia García hitting her routine for once and proving she is amazing (x)

Ball (or pre-2000 clubs) 

11. Favourite group routine?

To be fair I haven’t watched any group routines previous to 2012 except for a few honorable mentions. In general I love Bulgaria and Italy. Having said that:

Italy’s 5 balls in London 2012. It was the first froup routine I loved (x).

Bulgaria’s last year 5 hoops was also a masterpiece (x)

Honorable mention to Spain becoming the first ever Olympic group champions (x).
