I saw your response to the poll and the meta you reblogged and wanted to ask your thoughts on wwx's use of guidao post resurrection. He does have the added benefit of a golden core at this point, but I always read his loss of control in his first life to be tied more closely with the outside pressure he was facing rather than his cultivation (i.e. the use of guidao is what allowed a loss of control to be so destructive but it didn't cause it). My thought was that if guidao was truly so temperamental then there should be consequences to wwx using it post resurrection, but there's not. However, you've probably read much more closely than I have, which is why I'm interested in hearing what you think 👀

#yeah basically. the way he used guidao pre-death and post-ressurection are honestly incomparable #it's fine in moderation!! but war forced wwx to use it a way that was extremely harmful REALLY fast #and post canon he genuinely.... never uses it. especially once his core starts developing again #like yeah post-res he'd still need it bc mxy didnt have a core #but going from commanding armies of corpses everyday to a ghost or two? especially at the level of power he has??#he has nothing to fear anymore with 1. lwj by his side 2. none of the added stress and responsabilities of his previous life #modao #lace speaks
