anyway 1/2 Favorite ice cream flavor?
#i can’t believe out of all the possible questions in this ask meme to give me an identity crisis#i opened this and my first thought verbatim was “what is my favourite ice cream flavour. do i even have a sense of self anymore”#and proceeded to stare blankly at the paint on the wall for a solid two minutes#before deciding to GOOGLE EXTANT ICE CREAM FLAVOURS#??? BECAUSE I COULDN’T REMEMBER WHAT THEY WERE ????#i actually still don’t know what to answer like i finally remembered i usually say neapolitan in response to this question#but god do i even LIKE neapolitan or is that just me. weaselling my way out of answering . bc that’s just like answering three flavours#is that a copout#are there moral ramifications for being unable to make a decision#am i truly taking ownership over my choices or am i avoiding the internal event of defining myself with palatable social platitudes#did i ever stop to question whether making this statement is something that would have meaning for me#or if it’s just something i’ve internalised by having it defined as a need by those around me rather than the products of my own experience#would i rather be normal.... yes so normal.....#is this still about fucking ice cream#who knows#i do know i like coffee flavoured gelato though. so there’s that
