You know, in a way I'm surprised that the fandom is getting /bored/ of Psycho-Pass 3 but like... Ubukata just can't be trusted with this show lol

Like I've been camping on the tag to check some superficial spoilers because I refuse to watch this show until I see the final verdicts on it, but I'm getting to the conclusion PP producers are pretty much lending this franchise to Ubukata under a bunch of restrictions - which means he's essentially writing filler seasons.

You can argue that S2 had the main cast and had the lasting consequence of Mika learning about Sybil but honestly it doesn't seem the kind of thing that will be crucial for the rest of the series. Nothing that happened there seemed important in the grand scheme of things and now S3 is focusing on a whole new cast and doesn't seem interested in explaining whatever happened between SS movies and S3, so...

Basically I think fans can safely skip anything written by Ubukata because it's Urobochi and Makoto Fukami setting up the important pieces. I expect some sort of movie or OVA actually explaining what went down with Akane written by one of those writers (Fukami probably as I feel Urobochi has moved on from this franchise already)

(p.s. if you haven't watched Sinners of the System already DO IT, there's some decent subs on nyaa already. Case 1 is kinda crappy similarly to S2 but it's nice to see Ginoza in action and the other two movies are excellent, with great characters moments.)
