#RotE #Like YES the ravages of compulsory heterosexuality as well of course #but even the Fool considers Fitz's various affections irreconcilable #BUT FITZ HAS TWO HANDS AND CAN SPARE PETS FOR NIGHTEYES TOO #well. the narrative also forces him to chose between his daughter and his duty and his daughter and his soulmate #so not all of it is a matter of monogamy that guy is just cursed by the narrative #but still #but if push came to shove I'd still say he must go with the Fool since he can't be whole and truthful with Molly to face his life #save*
