Maybe this is a hot take, but i get a little annoyed when characters in tv shows and movies are supposed to be normal, ordinary people but have designer clothes as their wardrobe. It’s not a big deal, but I think it’s fine if your characters wear clothes from Target or something.

#Costume creation is a whole separate ballgame #I think that’s fine whether you are making a simple tee and pants fit or creating an elaborate and elegant suit or gown #but don’t give your high school student Versace if the character wouldn’t actually own it #Even if the clothes don’t have the label it’s still high end and it doesn’t need to be!!#Get some hot topic for crying out loud it’s fine #nerd out #nerd-out
