I finally decided to try out obey me and I instantly got hooked and have been playing obsessively for like the past week but I've finally hit a hard wall at like chapter 10 and yeah nothing to possibly do about it except incredibly slowly level up my cards so that sucks I feel like it's gonna take a long while before I can play main story again

Hodge is actually such interesting character because on one hand you do feel really bad for him and how harsh and cruel his punishment was compared to the Lightwoods. Then on the other hand you possess the knowledge that the worse punishment was actually kinda deserved given he was, in fact, far more complicit in things than the Lightwoods 😭

like was the irony lost on him all those years as he festered in his rage over the unfairness of it all while simultaneously knowing Valentine was alive out there. the Lightwoods couldn't have betrayed the Clave even if they wanted to because they thought that man was bones!! Hodge meanwhile is wondering which Jonathan child experiment Jace is like they are not the same

and yeah obviously the Clave did not know that at the time (lucky for him tbh) but given how Hodge was THE PERSON in Valentine's confidence, moreso than even Luke and Stephen, there was probably stuff that they did know about. Valentine wouldn't have given Jace to Hodge out of the blue, it stands to reason he was directly involved in the experimentation itself given his skill & knowledge with tonics & whatnot and that there was probably more minor stuff he helped Valentine with that was known about. enough that it proved he was more directly involved with Valentine's plans than either of the Lightwoods ever were

look. look. the siblings au was just me having fun writing a story, and then one day i drew and posted one (one) meme about it to my account with twelve (twelve) followers, and it somehow blew up??? so i kept posting more about the au cause... people liked it! exciting! and now i have 321 followers and i have NO idea how that happened lmao but uh it did.

I loooove the jp fandom's headcanon that geeta and larry are childhood friends who met during their time in the academy and, sometime in the future, geeta personally recruited larry to work for the paldean pokemon league, as she must be one of the first people who knew of his prowess in pokemon battling! “Red team was so selfish looking past the cursed team like that” listen man they were thinking about it often, and had evidence they were cursed too. They were convinced they were cursed too. Bad (with Pierre’s help I’ll be honest) singlehandedly destroyed any sort of civil relations and good faith between the two teams and this shot Blue in the foot when they tried to make the case about them being cursed last minute, about trying to rig it in the cursed teams favor.

There was never a cursed team in the first place, it was all a tactic to build paranoia and that feeling of betrayal and to get them to tear eachother a part. And it worked super well! At the end, neither would listen to the other about their evidence, not with an honest open ear, not with the willingness to think the other team could be cursed. It’s not a case of ‘Red just refused to listen because they wanted to win more than they cared’ they thought they were cursed too - if they were selfish, then so were Blue in the same way.

Every time Red had tried to talk first early on, it was met with extreme violence - and with Bad consistently proving he’ll play dirty to win, they didn’t trust Blue enough to listen to them in the later game. Maybe they should have listened then. Maybe Blue have listened earlier. The game worked as intended to set them against eachother.
