G) as someone who works at a shipping warehouse I want yall shopping LESS online!!! Not more!!!
every time I hear someone say “we should just get rid of physical shops and have everything online” I get a bit angry because
a) physical shops are important for those who don’t have access to a computer/ internet/ ect
b) those “weird” and “niche” shops I love so much don’t have the same vibe online, they turn into just another website
c) I hate paying for shipping
#work has been so goddamn exhausting and its bc this is the time of year ppl buy a million things#like whatever go ahead and shop online thats fine#but dear god it sucks sooooo much to be loading a fucking PATIO into a truck bc someone wanted an online deal--#or was too assed to drive their fuckin SUV to lowes to pick it up themselves#i used to think shipping was too expensive but holy fuck if I got paid a penny less than what I make I'd combust
