my test came back negative, but I don’t trust it lol

My dad has Covid again, and I have a feeling that my mom and I probably do too since we all live in the same house, his symptoms started Friday but he didn’t test until like 10 minutes ago and has just been sitting in our living room unquarantined from us, so I feel like I should just go ahead and call into work

#and like I feel like when I’m in the same house breathing the same air as the person who tested positive #especially since he’s still walking around the house unmasked and coughing and refuses to just like go into the basement to quarantine (it’s #a nice basement like fully finished and nice and shit) that the next test I take in 36 or 48 hours is gonna come back positive #I already feel like I’ve got symptoms like a slightly sore throat kinda lethargic and a bit congested #so I mean sure I guess I’ll work tomorrow since the test was negative and I very well could just be imagining my symptoms (it’s happened #before I’m a little bit of a hypochondriac) but I’m for sure taking another test possibly tomorrow night if I can get away with 36 hours or #but I don’t know I won’t really be able to call out at that point or on Tuesday morning if I test before work #so like I’ll have to work Monday and Tuesday unless I actually start feeling it then I’m just gonna call out #but damn Dad no Father’s Day present for you if you’ve given me Covid #plus him being positive and me and my mom both having the potential to test positive later this week means that we’re probably not going to #see my mom’s dad for Father’s Day and it means my brother isn’t coming home this weekend probably like he was originally supposed to do
