I have long sad thoughts about c3/BH post-finale let's see if I can put it into words
#ignore me#maddie liveblogs cr3#cr spoilers#tldr we know how rushed the campaign was and we can see that in nearly each pc's post-canon future and it makes me sad :(#like BH were barely bonded in comparison to the previous groups#previous pc's lives are all so intertwined. even if not paired together they're still involved one way or another#but I didn't see that in BH's futures and it made me sad#sure imodna and dorym are both canon but in both cases they knew each other pre-BH so does it even count?#as opposed to percy/vex who wouldn't have happened w/o VM or caleb/essek w/o MN#sure BH still visit and interact post-canon but it's not the same#each of them essentially move on in their lives without having changed much and idk I'm :(#thinking about ashton in particular. they lost fcg and got close to fearne but didn't want to cement anything so they're back to being solo#(NOT saying that I think everyone should pair up at the end!!!!! I hate that trope)#idk to me it just felt like everyone moved on from the events of c3 like it was nothing and it doesn't sit right w me#compare: VM are so intertwined. percy has whitestone/cass back bc of VM and is married to vex#even stuff like pike's bakery was all done w vex and taryon. all due to vm.#MN: everything about nott/veth! she got her halfling body back bc of MN!#all the couples literally came together due to MN#every campaign they all mean so much to each other they all involve themselves in each other's lives afterwards#but c3 they only spend barely a few months w each other and it clearly shows#like sure they're on friendly terms and ashton will always visit fearne etc but idk they all moved on like it was just another job#idk it makes me sad :( wish we got more bonding time more shared night watches more WTFIUWT#I'm listening to cr abridged from the start where they're still near strangers and tbh it doesn't feel like they progressed much further#I'm just. :( they're not family.......... sad :((
