ao3 is down so i’ve been finally imagining httyd au and throwing plot on the walls like spaghetti [in my current half baked plot, it goes like the httyd movie, ren is the chief’s son and he’s currently in jail for being a dragon sympathiser. he’s been working with false on studying dragons but he lies and says she doesn’t know about the dragon sympathising thing. also conveniently iskall’s family died in a dragon attack so he hates dragons and he’s been brought up like a brother with ren (heir in case something happens to ren). false breaks ren out of jail during a dragon attack. ren runs away with his dragon (the dragon is called pamela). iskall becomes heir. false continues being a dragon sympathiser while keeping up appearances so she doesn’t get jailed too. i’ve read enough runaway!hiccup aus to get a vibe of what happens next]
