Stylized Skyfire & Starscream Studies+Refs

IS THAT TIME OF THE YEAR for dusting off old Skystar art for this week while I work on my entry for this year's @skystarweek event!

This collection of pics (and the ones I'll share in next few days) were my first attempts at understanding how to draw TFs and especially the design differences between these two. That's why they look super basic but it helped me a lot to become more comfortable until I settled on a style more similar to TFA+TFP in later years.

(And I was watching during that year the War for Cybertron trilogy so, that's why my Skyfire is addressed as Jetfire, bear with me).
