i actually think that lestat bullying daniel is what can ultimately make armand show up again, because he would have a weird freakclaim along the lines of "only i can torture my fledgling, daniel is mine to torment, mine to embrace after causing him endless distress."

daniel would try to be offended, but deep down (not too deep tho) he actually really likes it, almost reminds him of the blood vial, protection and ownership wrapped in one fucked up gesture. it's so armand, and that's exactly how daniel likes it.
