#JUSTINDESERVEDBETTER talk & 13 Reasons Why S4E10 thoughts
So ... I’ve already watched the series finale, did it right after episode 9 but it was hard for me to watch and write my thoughts simultaneously because I was ugly crying the whole freakin time. Thus, I’m posting this now. Haven’t cried this much in a LONG while. My heart is fucking broken. I’m gonna start by talking about my favorite character whom the show did SO. FUCKING. DIRTY. JUSTIN FOLEY DESERVED BETTER. (obviously, OBVIOUSLY, it was gonna be MY favorite character who gets screwed over and dies a horrible death, just my luck, why did I expect a happy ending, I don’t even know).
Justin was the most tragic figure of the show. Raised by a junkie mother who never gave a damn about him, sexually molested as a little kid by one of her many drug addict & violent boyfriends, he often went to school dirty and hungry because of the neglect. He never had a positive influence in his life. He only managed to do better with Bryce’s help (Bryce was a bastard but he did care about Justin in his own way, that’s for sure).
After the events of S1 with Hannah’s suicide and the tapes and everything that happened with Jessica and Bryce, he left his abusive home and lived in the streets where he barely ever found food and what money he got from charity or the men who paid (and hurt him) to use his body, he gave to drugs.
In S2, Clay and Toni, found him and saved his life, helped him get back on his feet and he tried his best to set things straight with everyone. He even saved Clay’s life who came so close to killing Bryce and even worse himself. He didn’t hesistate to face the legal consequences if it meant helping the girl he loved. And Clay eventually became his brother as his parents decided to adopt him.
In S3, he started going to school and doing well, got a job, tried to start his life over, this time in a safe environment with a real family and friends who supported him. He was doing exceptionally well, he looked much happier, he finally felt what it’s like to be loved by a mother and father and a brother and he got some sense of normalcy in his life. He was there for Clay when things got bad, believed in him and he had his back ALWAYS. (still emo about their scenes together where they told each other “I love you” & “I’d do ANYTHING for you”), Plus, he was one of Tyler’s biggest supporters stating Tyler deserved a second chance to be better.
Come S4 ... he’s fresh out of rehab, looking better than ever. His friends welcome him when he gets back but everything is different. EVERYTHING. And everyone has changed. THE ENTIRE SEASON, NOBODY, NOT A SINGLE PERSON gave a fuck about him except for the coach and to a point his adoptive parents. He had done so much progress, he wanted to make his new family proud so bad, he was clean, he was doing great at school, he even got accepted into college!!! And what did he get in return???? NOT ONE OF HIS FRIENDS HUNG OUT WITH HIM ONCE, NOT EVEN ONCE. Every time he tried to approach someone or help THEM deal with their problems, he was turned away and even insulted. They would tell him he shouldn’t be giving advice and that he would never change who he used to be. He confessed to the coach that he felt like nobody believed in him and frankly?? NOBODY SHOWED THEY DID!!!!!!!! Jessica brushed him off all the time because she was MAD he broke up with her so he could FOCUS ON HIS HEALTH!!!!!!!!!! WHAT??????!!!!!!!!! She kept parading everywhere with Diego when she knew this was hurting him deeply. Clay was so fucking MEAN to him and I didn’t understand WHY after their great bonding their previous two seasons. Sure, he had his own problems, but there was NO reason for this, absolutely none. He was jealous of the moments Justin shared with his parents and how he was doing well at school and sports and got accepted in college. He even told in his FACE that Matt and Lainie are his parents ALONE, not Justin’s when he knew Justin’s biggest need was to feel the love and warmth of a family. Justin wanted to go to a free college so that Clay could have the money go to the BEST one and so the Jensens didn’t have to spend any on him. And I’m 100% sure he never told them how sick he was until it was too late because he didn’t want to be a burden so he decided to die quietly and slowly without upsetting them. Clay had the NERVE to pin the positive drug test on Justin when Justin was fucking CLEAN and then went on to smoke POT at that party. It broke my heart in 1000000 pieces when Justin asked him why he hated him so much. Zack wasn’t better either, basically telling Justin that he’d be a junkie his entire life and he could never change. The others mostly didn’t give a flying fuck, focused on nobody else but themselves and stayed far away from him the entire season. His mom died of OD and he didn’t tell anyone but the Jensens and Jess and he had to deal with everything all on his own again. He only had the coach to listen and there was a limit to what help he could give. So, he finally broke. He stopped caring since nobody was giving him a chance, he started using again, he lost his job, he didn’t care about anything. Jess and Clay knew he was using again and did NOTHING to help except tell him “Hey, I thought you quit! I thought you were getting better!”. Wow, BIG HELP, ASSHOLES. They all left him alone on prom night, and Clay SAW how sick he looked but he preferred to go to prom rather than stay with his brother who needed him.
Justin, with what little strength he had left, got dressed and went to the prom towards its end, he looked so beautiful in his suit, like Prince Charming. He lived one last carefree moment with the girl he loved and then he collapsed. And THAT’S when everyone said “OH, NO! Let’s go see our sick friend!”. Well done, now he IS DYING, YOU IGNORANT IDIOTS. Now that he’s at death’s door, you want to be there for him but WHERE WERE YOU WHEN HE WAS SO DESPERATELY TRYING TO LIVE?????????? Yes, it was proven that he had HIV, probably from the time he lived on the streets and without the proper care it went on to become fully AIDS and he had numerous other issues with his health as a result of that and the drugs to the point that he could no longer breathe on his own. BUT. Had he shared his problems and told the Jensens how sick he was feeling for so long, his death could have been prevented. I know someone in real life who got HIV in his 30s and he’s now in his 60s and his life is perfectly fine. He has friends, he has family (didn’t get married), he travels, he does what he wants. Justin could have been saved if someone had NOTICED. Like HANNAH could have been saved if someone, ANYONE was paying attention. Needless to say, I fucking died during his scenes in the hospital, it was so hard to watch him waste away in that hospital bed. When they took the tube out so he could say his goodbyes to Clay, Jess and his adoptive parents ... I LEGIT haven’t cried so hard in SO long ... I still have a headache from all the crying. My poor CHILD, he was scared but he told them all how much he loved them and eventually died in his sleep, holding his brother’s, Clay’s hand. The episode was meaningless after that for me. I only watched to see how everyone’s stories would end, even though I didn’t care and knew that they’d get their happy (mostly) endings. The one character who TRULY deserved the best and happiest ending, got royally fucked and buried six feet under while everyone went about their lives like nothing had happened.
I really don’t have much to comment on the rest of the story. Clay did one final extreme act by walking in the police department, saying he had a gun. Not convinved he didn’t really want to die too after Justin but perhaps his psychologist was right and he was just trying to make people notice he was hurting. I’m happy for Toni for doing what’s best for him and deciding to accept the scholarship and go to college, same goes for Tyler, he deserved to be happy and I’m glad he ended up with Estella. Relieved that Jess and Diego tested negative for HIV but disappointed they were ready to get back together so soon after Justin. Winston decided to not use what he found out about Bryce’s death against Alex and the others and that made me respect him a little bit. (Winston and Ryan btw? hehe, I kinda saw it coming ever since I saw Ryan and Courtney at the graduation-did anyone also notice Bryce and Monty in the crowd too??lol). Liked the graduation and Hannah’s little cameo (although it was archived footage) but it left me with a sour taste because Justin wasn’t there among the rest, only as a ghost in Clay’s mind. Also that Heidi girl talking to Clay, uh, SO cheesy and unnecessary. Clay reading Justin’s college essay with Justin’s ghost in their bedroom and seeing how it was all about him and Justin calling him his brother ... IT DESTROYED ME. UTTERLY AND COMLETELY. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME. WHY WOULD YOU KILL THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHARACTER OF THE SHOW. THE MOST COMPLEX AND DAMAGED ONE. WHY COULDN’T HE HAVE A HAPPY ENDING LIKE THE REST OF THEM. IT’S FUCKING UNFAIR.
I’m glad the final scene was just Clay and Toni driving away, always enjoyed their friendship. Having no word exchange between them was pretty powerful because you only needed to read their expessions to feel the emotions.
All in all, a powerful season who dealt with so many important issues, well directed and full of action but disappointing for me where it mattered the most ... Right now, I don’t want to even touch another show for a long time, I need a break to recover from this, it was too much. I wish I didn’t get so attached to certain characters, but I do and it hurts me deeply when shit like that happens to them. Anyway ... Goodbye, show ... it was (mostly) good while this journey lasted ... I sure hope I see all these HUGELY talented actors and actresses in other projects in the future, especially Brandon Flynn (Justin), Dylan Minnette (Clay), Katherine Langford (Hannah) & Justin Prentice (Bryce). I also hope Brandon & Dylan get ALL the awards for their performances in S4. THEY DESERVE EVERYTHING. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts on all this, it was such an intense experience.

Left All Alone (2/?)
Prompt: Could you please do a Justin Foley imagine where his sister got kicked out after he left so she’s been staying with Bryce because she doesn’t know about the tapes and he’s always been there for her and Justin and in the school fight scene, Bryce makes a comment about her which causes Justin to lose it? X
A/N: And the winner of the poll is Scott Reed!! Thank you to all who participated and I hope you even the series :) At this point, i’m not sure how long it’ll be because I don’t really know where i’m gonna take it lol. But, I can’t see more than like ten parts.
Please don’t plagiarize my work!
Word Count: 2,037
In hindsight, you were glad you left.
Maybe running from your feelings hadn’t been the best choice. Maybe, just confronting them would’ve been easier. But seeing Justin, after all this time, just there, standing there like he hasn’t been missing for months... it left you with a sick feeling. One you weren’t ready to face.
And, if you had stayed, you knew now you would’ve been caught between crossfires. Why your brother hated Bryce so much, you’ll never understand. The two had once been brothers, closer than possibly even you and Justin. It was why you came to Bryce in the first place, because your brother had trusted him so much. Even if, towards the end, things had seemed odd between the two, you thought it would always be that way.
But given the rumors floating around the hall, talk of some big fight right here in the middle of the school, Bryce and Justin being the ones to start it; you figured that was no longer the case.
Bryce had told you not to listen to the gossip that seemed to spread around the school like a plague. That it was all just lies and you were better off just sticking close to him, and ignoring what anybody else had to say. But this was near damn impossible to ignore, and for once, nobody seemed afraid to whisper it around you. It was opposite of what usually happened when you walked down the halls and everyone, other than Bryce’s own friends, ignored you. Practically shunned you.
Even now you still didn’t understand why.
If you’d been there for that fight, you would’ve had to choose between your brother and Bryce. And in this moment, you weren’t sure who you’d choose.
“Hey, Y/N.”
Turning, brows furrowing, you blink at the sight of Bryce rushing towards you, a familiar looking man following behind him. Then, it clicked; his lawyer. Something must be happening with the trial.
Once Bryce reaches you, he leans in closer, not necessarily trying to keep the conversation from the ears of his lawyer but to give the both of you just a little bit of privacy. You let him do so, only half-consciously noticing the way his hand falls on your wrist, glancing around the both of you once before letting his eyes meet yours own once more. “I won’t be able to drive you home, Monty will.”
You ignore his words, eyes falling on his lawyer; “is something happening with the trial?”
“Yeah,” Bryce nods nonchalantly, “but it’s fine. I’ll see you when I--”
Then, you cut him off, voice small. “Maybe I could come with you?”
There’s a moment of pause, Bryce just blinking at you. You knew it was a stupid question to ask, given that Bryce had never let you come to one of the trail meetings before. It was worth the shot, though, you figured. Though, given the expression that crosses his features, you already know the answer before he even says it. “Y/N, I think it’s best you just go home.”
You decide to fight it, even just a little. “Why?” You question, brows furrowing. “I mean, I still don’t even know what the trials are about. Not a lot anyway. Noticing the shift in his expression, you add, quickly; “and i’d like to be there to support you.”
“Justin’ll be there.”
You pause, confused; “has he been before?”
Bryce grimaces then, “yeah. When he first came back.”
You then take a step back, pulling your hand from his as your lips part; “he’s been back for a while? ...And you never told me?”
Bryce briefly glances at his lawyer, “you weren’t ready.”
Scoffing, you cross your arms over your chest. “I--”
“Bryce,” his lawyer calls, interrupting the both of you. One glance at him and you can tell he’s irritated by having to wait. “We should really get going. The trial starts in just a half hour.”
Glancing back at you, Bryce frowns; “wait for Monty, okay? He’ll drive you home.”
You give him a short nod, not bothering to put anymore effort in your response. Then, with one last glance your way, Bryce walks off, leaving you there in the hallway. You hesitate, staying rooted in your spot, mind wandering. How could it not? Not only was your brother back from being missing for like six months, it turns out he’s been back for longer then you’d thought and you’d had no idea. Not to mention, there’s something suspicious about Bryce’s case that’s been bothering you for a while.
But you won’t push it because you don’t want to be homeless. And, besides, you don’t want to anger Bryce. Ever.
The sound of a door opening pulls you from your thoughts. You blink, raising your chin only to see Clay Jensen, Tony Padilla and... Justin Foley exit the classroom just a little to your right. The same class Bryce had left a little while ago. Detention’s class.
They, more specifically Justin, notice you right away.
There’s a moment of still silence, no one moves, but Clay seems eager to rush off; in the direction Bryce had gone actually. Yet, he seems to know enough not to rush Justin as your brother simply just stares back at you, lips parted, eyes wide, uncertainty in his gaze. Your jaw clenches instinctively, trying to keep yourself composed, not to let him see how actually hurt you were by what he’d done. Besides, he probably could guess it all on his own anyways.
Then, with one brief glance back at Clay and Tony, Justin takes a step towards you. “Y/N--”
You step back from him, shaking your head. “Don’t.” Is all you can manage, voice pitching in distress as you bow your head, not willing to let yourself meet his gaze. You just had so much pent up anger and rage inside of you, towards Justin and you weren’t sure what you’d do if he didn’t walk away now.
Who was he to stand there, looking all victimized, without some sort of explanation? An explanation as to why he left you, there.
“Y/N,” Justin calls again, voice more pleading. He holds his hands out before him, reaching for you. “Y/N, just listen to me--”
“I don’t want to hear it.” You swallow thickly, gathering all the courage you have to raise your chin and meet your brother’s gaze head-on, unwavering. You square your shoulders, clenching your jaw. “I just don’t.”
“I-I can explain,” Justin rushes, desperate for you to understand. “I’ll ex-explain everything, from the beginning. But... But, you have to get out of that house.”
It’s then you pause, stunned. “Excuse me?”
“You can’t be in there. You can’t... I mean, Bryce? It’s not safe for you there, Y/N--”
“Just, just shut up!” You interrupt, voice harsh. Narrowing your eyes, you shake your head at Justin. “I don’t want to hear it,” you say simply, shoulders falling with disbelief. “I don’t want to hear anything. Especially not from the brother who abandoned me.” Never letting your eyes leave his own, you let out a breath of relief when you hear the door open again and Monty and a few other of Bryce’s friends step out. “Now, if you excuse me, i’ll be going now.”
You glare at Justin one final time before shoving past him, not bothering to glance at either Clay or Tony on the way and instead head straight for Monty. Along the way, you catch brief sight of Scott Reed, another one of Bryce’s friends, leaving the detention room.
Briefly your eyes meet, you offer a small smile. He returns the same to you.
Monty’s attention turns to you as you fall next to him, “hey.”
“Hey,” Monty nods simply, eyes wandering on Justin for a moment before turning to you, “ready to go?”
Clenching your jaw, you nod.
-
Swallowing thickly, you raise your head as Bryce steps into your room. Or really, it was the guest bedroom that Bryce and his mother had been nice enough to let you occupy for the last few months. Anything you really had, had been from Bryce.
“How was the trial?”
“Good,” Bryce nods, shrugging nonchalantly as he takes a sip of the drink already poured in his hand. “Chloe was testifying against me.”
“About?”
Taking a seat next to you on your bed, arms brushing against one anothers momentarily, Bryce shrugs off your question; “doesn’t matter.” He says simply, turning to meet your gaze. You can tell by his hazy gaze and heavy-lidded stare, he’s already a little drunk. Tipsy for sure.
You feel your heart sink; that can only mean one thing.
You set down your homework in front of you, leaning on your left arm, the one closest to Bryce and sigh. “It must though,” you say softly, keeping your gaze downwards, hesitant, unsure. “I mean, she is your girlfriend after all. Testifying against you, that must hurt.” Testifying against him for what, you didn’t know. You wish you did.
Bryce moves to take another sip of his drink; “in the end she stayed loyal to me, that’s all that matters.”
Your shoulders fall at another failed attempt at trying to figure out just a little bit more about this case. Briefly, your eyes fall to your cellphone laid on your night-table. Your cellphone that had a tab open of those tapes Hannah Baker had left behind that had been posted online. Your cellphone that had been tempting you for days now.
You were just scared of what you’d find out and what Bryce would do if he found out you had.
“Hey,” Bryce mumbles, voice low. You feel the tip of his fingers fall under your chin, guiding your gaze towards his own as he leans forward. For a moment, your eyes flicker to his lips before returning to his eyes, swallowing thickly. “You okay?”
“Just a long day,” you whisper, already knowing he knew what you meant by that without having to explain it. It was pretty obvious.
Bryce, however, smirks slightly at your words, leaning towards you as his hand now moves lower. He sets his hand on your bare thigh, only a pair of pajama shorts on, rubbing softly at the skin as his lips become only inches apart from your own. He reeks of whiskey, but your hands are frozen by your side, un-moving. “I think I might know how to cheer you up.”
His lips are on yours in the next second, without warning. You freeze, but only briefly as this isn’t something you’re exactly unaccustomed to. By now, it was only like routine.
Chloe testified against me today.
Freezing, you set your hand against Bryce’s chest, pushing him back. “But, Chloe...”
“It’s fine,” Bryce brushes off, moving his hand to your waist and tugging you forward. It’s quite harsh, you stumbling over yourself before Bryce sets either of his hands on your hips and helps guide you where he wants you. Before you know it, you find yourself straddling his lap, hands held out before yourself unsure as Bryce presses kiss against the length of your neck. Between kisses he manages to mumble; “it’s never been a problem before,” and then, he pulls back, grinning up at you. “Besides, you owe me remember?”
I didn’t know where else to go...
You can stay for as long as you need, Y/N.
We’ll find someway for you to repay the favor.
You didn’t want to be homeless.
With a simple nod, you let Bryce pull your shirt over your head, leaving you in just your shorts and a sports bra. You don’t fight him as he leans forward, gripping your hips hard, sucking aggressively against your neck, a small moan leaving your lips as he does so.
And even though you don’t fight him, even though your body responds to him, you feel disgusting. Shameful.
Those tapes... the trial... Bryce’s secrecy...
But you don’t want to be homeless.
Just as Bryce moves to take off your bra, the sound of distant voices interrupts the silence. It’s enough to catch Bryce’s attention, as well as yours, given that it doesn’t just sound like someone passing by. The voices don’t fade, if anything, they grow closer, and both of your heads snap towards the window.
Suddenly, Bryce is pushing you off of him, rushing towards the window.
“Who is it?” You question, moving to pull on your shirt again.
Bryce doesn’t answer, instead, he waits a moment, just peeking through his blinds before turning without a word and walking out of the room. Your eyes follow his figure, greatly confused, before fixing your shirt, pushing yourself up to your feet and moving towards the window.
Your eyes widen when you see what Bryce had.
“Justin?”

Quiet- Zach Dempsey Smut-Part 1
this is my first time trying to write smut so i’m sorry if this is bad even though it doesn’t mention smut yet :/
-warnings: rape (sorta), swearing
-maybe smut in part 2?
The loud yet rhythmic sounds of the trashy pop music blared through speakers throughout the house. Drunks danced closely against each other without a care in the world, while the others who were still sober, chugged down mass amounts of alcohol so they too could join in. I stood taking it all in, leaning against a wall in the corner and watched as all of the intoxicated teenagers partied without realizing how shitty they would all feel the morning after.
“And here is your drink.” Zach smiled and slightly swayed over, holding out a glass that was obviously filled with beer. I gladly took it and gave him a ‘thank you’ before taking down almost the entire drink at once.
“Slow your roll there (Y/N), you wouldn’t believe how long it took to get one and I don’t feel like walking back to get another.” He joked and leaned up against the wall looking down to me and I chuckled in response.
“I’ve never heard of a line for drinks at one of Jeff’s famous parties?” I questioned jokingly and nudged him lightly.
“Yeah… well, he put Jensen in charge of drinks and he barely knows what alcohol is. Guess he thought it’d help him get a girl and actually talk to her.” Zach shrugged and I lightly slapped his arm giggling at his joke.
“So, would you like to sit down and join the rest of the team or continue to just stand here in the corner?” Zach asked raising an eyebrow and even though I would’ve rather stayed where I was, I knew Zach wanted us to go sit down with the rest of the basketball players and their girlfriends.
“Alright, if you insist.” I played sarcastically and we both walked over and took a seat between Justin Foley and Bryce Walker.
“Glad you guys finally came over.” Justin joked and elbowed Zach. We all talked and joked throughout the course of the party. As Justin was telling a story about one of their basketball trips I could feel a hand slither onto my thigh. I looked up to Zach to see him staring daggers at Bryce who I now noticed was scooting closer to me. I leaned in closer to Zach and I could feel him take a deep breath of relief.
“Well I don’t know about you guys, but this party has gone to trash and the only people left are us and the trashy drunks still hoping to get some. So, I say we all go to my place while my parents are gone.” Bryce exclaimed clapping his hands together and practically jumping up earning cheers of approval from everyone else. Zach looked down at me and I could read his face knowing that he didn’t have a good feeling about going. I nodded to him as if to say it’d be alright.
“Zach you coming?” Marcus asked standing up from the couch and following the rest of the group.
“Yeah, I'll meet you guys there.” Zach grinned at him trying to hide his worry.
—– Once we reached Bryce’s house Zach and I walked in, Zach with a tight grip around my waist.
“Aye, it’s about time you made it, what took you so long?” Bryce chuckled and handed Zach a drink.
“Doesn’t matter, we’re here now.” Zach joked and held up his drink and everyone agreed loudly. We all sat out back by Bryce’s pool and one by one, people left until it was just Bryce, Zach, Justin, and me. Justin and Zach were playing around and tackling one another while I sat on the couch on my phone and Bryce sat across from me trying to make conversation with the two boys.
“Keep that up and you both are going to end up in the pool.” Bryce chuckled taking another sip of his drink. And as if planned Zach threw Justin off of him and he stumbled back into the pool, but not before grabbing onto Zach and pulling him in as well.
“Well, look who was right.” Bryce stood up and walked up to the side of the pool.
“You two go upstairs and change, pretty sure you guys left clothes here from the last time you stayed here,” Bryce informed them and they both scrambled out of the cold water and back into the house. I could hear footsteps grow closer and the fabric of the couch sink down next to me.
“So you and Zach? How long has that been going on?” Bryce asked leaning back against the couch.
“About 5 months now,” I answered not bothering to look up. Once again I felt the tingling feeling of a hand against my thigh but this time it was different. I looked up to Bryce whose eyes were dark and staring down at me.
“Bryce… what are you doing?” I asked timidly, my voice shaking.
“I just wanted to let you know that you look really good tonight.” He whispered in my ear, his hot breath making me pull back. He began to pepper kisses along my neck and his hand moved higher up my leg. I immediately tried to push him off but that only caused him to put more pressure on my as he used his other hand to sneak under my shirt.
“Bryce please stop,” I said quietly sniffling.
“Come on, let’s just have some fun.” He smiled and licked a stripe down my neck. By now hot tears were trailing down my face as I attempted to kick him off. My muscles were straining as I used every bit of effort to throw him off and just when I was about to give up a ray of hope shined through.
“Hey! What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” I heard Zach’s voice cut through, loud and angry. Bryce looked up at him and tried to explain but still yet to remove his hands.
“Get off of her man!” Justin yelled, running through the door while slipping a shirt over his head. Zach picked Bryce up by the collar of his shirt and threw him off the couch.
“Bro, she wanted it, you don’t think I’d do that if she didn’t. Come on man she was practically begging for-” Bryce rambled on and scrambled up to his feet.
“No shut the fuck up.” Zach cut him off and pushed him back.
“The fuck are you going to do, huh Dempsey?” Bryce asked taking a step closer to him and balling up his fists.
“Fuck off Walker.” Zach spat at him and walked off, grabbing me by the hand and pulling me to his car. Once he closed the door I couldn’t stop from breaking down. Zach gently rubbed my back and carefully intertwined his hand with mine.
“Don’t worry, I will make sure he doesn’t touch you ever again,” Zach whispered to me and softly pressed his lips against my cheek. Zach turned the car into drive and headed off in the direction of my house.
“Zach, can I stay at your house tonight… I just don’t want to be alone right now.” I said quietly and he nodded as well as grabbing my hand and rubbing his thumb on my knuckles, driving past my house and turning right to his place. When we reached his home, he led me up to his room.
“Will your parent's mind?” I asked softly as he closed his bedroom door.
“No, but they’re not home tonight anyways so it’s okay.” He replied moving to his dresser. “Here.” Zach said pulling out a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie to change into. I quickly changed into the oversized sweats. As I changed I could feel eyes on my and I turned to see Zach who was now shirtless and wearing sweatpants. He swayed over and looked at my arms which had bruises freckled across them now. Instead of saying anything he simply kissed my lips slowly. We both climbed into bed and I carefully laid my head against his chest. Zach’s arms were wrapped around tightly and I smiled softly feeling safe in his arms.
“I promise, I won’t ever let anything happen to you again,” Zach muttered into my hair and kissed the top of my head. And with that, I was able to fall asleep to the quiet yet rhythmic sound of his heartbeat.
