#american horror stories unironically slap? those short one episode stories are done so well??? i am in awe because i used to love ahs#i saw every season and well lets say the last 3 or 4 were not.... very good especially double feature . new york city was good but i feel#like it would serve a much better story as a separate show maybe not a part of ahs franchise because of the theme of the season#but anyway not digging into that now. double feature had all the worst sins of ahs and they were so brought into the light in that season#very interesting premise but weak ending or lack of it (red tide was so promising and then.)#but it was a clear sign that maybe murphy wanted to tell shorter stories actually ......... and then ahstories happened????? and i am#catching up and wow?!!?!?! just wow!!!!!!! season 1 had 7 episodes and 4 out of them were very good and solid and i loved them#and the remaining three weren't bad either i just don't vibe with murder house really lol#and season 2 starts with dollhouse which is SO GOOD#and these episodes tie so neatly into the main series???????? wowowowowoww#great loving it here#personal#american horror stories

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2005) Part I
Another year, another ranking of our favorite comic book characters to grace the movie screen! This year we have the debut of several movies including: Aeon Flux, Batman Begins, Constantine, Fantastic Four, and Sin City; a spin-off movie centered on Elektra; and the final installment to an outer space trilogy, Star Wars: Episode Three-Revenge of the Sith! Here’s #71 through #51!
*SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ALL MOVIES MENTIONED ABOVE*
Cameo Appreciation: Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Elektra) Besides all the mentions of Elektra being brought back to life, there's nothing in the movie that connects her to the previous film, Daredevil, until Matt Murdock shows up in Elektra's dream. It's a promise of an eventual reunion, nothing more.
Cameo Appreciation: Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) It's this list's first time that the directors of the film enter due to putting themselves in the story for some quick cameos. Robert Rodriguez is a member of the SWAT team and Frank Miller is the priest that gets killed by Marv.
Cameo Appreciation: Mr. Zsasz (Batman Begins) It's a double cameo you have to squint your eyes to notice. During the courtroom scene and the prison breakout you can spot Mr. Zsasz a very disturbing criminal that carves tallies in his skin for every person he's killed.
Cameo Appreciation: Stan Lee/Willie Lumpkin (Fantastic Four) We can't make a cameo list without including the Godfather of comic books, Stan Lee! This time around as he graced us with his presence for Fantastic Four he actually played a character and had a few lines as he gave Richard some mail!
71. Becky (Sin City)
"Oh, sugar, you just gone and done the dumbest thing in your whole life."
Of course the chick that snitches on everyone is a white girl named Becky. She's that one friend that acts like she can hang but when shit gets real is the first to wimp out. It's fine though she got hers through Gail biting a chunk out of her neck and then the Salesman takes care of her at the end.
70. Debbie McIlvane (Fantastic Four)
"Ben, are you back?"
Literally the worst character in the entire movie. Like your fiance just survived a near death experience but because he's suffered a physical side effect you're just going to toss him aside? I can understand if she tried to make it work but couldn't, but she was done from the get-go, even AFTER she saw him rescue so many people's lives. Superficial and honestly, Ben is better off without her.
69. Handler (Aeon Flux)
"You have your mission."
Ok so I couldn't tell if this lady was a real person? Like she was always in the place the rebels go when they activate their pills, even when she's not included in the conversation. If she isn't real it seems like her only goal in life is to hand out missions that will aid the rebel cause and believes no other circumstance should change the mission.
68. Leonard (Fantastic Four)
"Sir, I have always wondered. Why Sue?"
Ok, I'm going to address the elephant in the room. Leonard has it bad for Doom. That's why he does everything and anything for this man without a single question, it's why he cant fathom the idea of Doom falling for Sue, and it's why he's protecting Doom's immobilized body when the movie comes to an end.
67. Al Ghul Double (Batman Begins)
"Impressive."
We're lead to believe that this man is Ra's Al Ghul during Bruce's training and we don't find out the truth until Bruce completes his training with the League of Shadows. After Bruce denies killing a farmer, he faces off against this double and watches him die, only to find out later that his translator was really the Demon Head.
66. Shellie (Sin City)
"I've done some dumb things."
I didn't mind Shellie but she wasn't really significant besides being in all three stories. I think it sucks that her boyfriend basically leaves her for his ex after going off to defend her honor but hey, the heart wants what it wants. And honestly who wouldn't choose Rosario Dawson?
65. Earle (Batman Begins)
"You're supposed to be dead."
When Bruce's parents died, this guy took over. Like most rich, white guys he didn't do it with the intention to keep the empire running for when Bruce takes over but only for his own benefits. He tries to take the whole company and gets rid of anyone who catches on to him until it's Bruce that catches on and quickly fires him.
64. Beeman (Constantine)
"But that doesn't mean we don't have faith in you."
For every guy like Constantine that takes out the big, evil monsters, there's a guy like Beeman that supplies all the weapons. From dragon's blood to holy water grenades, this dude has it all. Now it's no mentioned how long they've been working together, but it's obvious that Beeman has a lot of respect for John, which makes it that much harder when he dies via swarm of evil flies.
63. Lucille (Sin City)
"Christ, I could use a cigarette."
Lucille falls into the category of unfortunate people that bad shit happens to because they know someone, in her case it's Marv, that fucks things up with the wrong people. Thanks to him she gets her hand eaten and she's forced to watch the entire thing. Her death is her fault though, I know she's a parole officer but she really shouldn't have trusted a bunch of cops with heavy guns pointed at her.
62. Alicia Masters (Fantastic Four)
"I wouldn't know anything about that?"
I almost kinda wished Alicia wasn't blind, only because I know that it's not just people who can't see that would accept Ben as the Thing. But her disability does show Ben that she knows exactly what he's going through in terms of not being accepted so I don't mind it. Plus they are so cute with all the flirty at the end of the movie, so they clearly dig each other.
61. Claudius (Aeon Flux)
"I loved her. You know that."
Claudius works for Goodchild to find the cure after Uma dies. The guys a complete wreck but you can't blame him for losing his wife and child. Aeon doesn't like him but respects his relationship with her sister enough to not give him a hard time. He's the first person Oren kills when he decides to overthrow his brother.
60. Senator Bail Organa (Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith)
"My wife and I always wanted a daughter."
Organa is mainly in the background always working with the forces of good and the Jedi. He witnesses clones killing a young Jedi so he knows that the Emperor is evil. After all the fighting's done, he volunteers to look after Leia once Padme dies and its decided she and Luke must be separated.
59. Freya (Aeon Flux)
"I assumed it was obvious what I should do."
Freya is Trevor's personal bodyguard who ends up throwing down against Aeon in his secret library. She puts up a good fight and I cringed so hard when she had her earring RIPPED OUT. When Oren begins his takeover, Freya dies trying to protect Trevor's library.
58. Chewbacca (Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith)
*battle cry*
It's not a Star Wars film unless you have Chewbacca in it with a bunch of screaming Wookies. These soldiers took out a huge droid army as well as help defend and protect Master Yoda once the Jedi were being hunted.
57. Keeper (Aeon Flux)
"You are needed."
Before he operated the memory ship that cloned everyone after they died, the Keeper was once a doctor that saved Aeon's DNA from being destroyed. Thanks to him she was able to figure out that the humans have cured and destroyed the ship he controlled. He didn't mind going down since he's been alive for 400 years anyway.
56. Balthazar (Constantine)
"Fire? I was born of this!"
A half breed demon working for the Son of Satan. He can do that really cool coin trick between his fingers (I'm sure it's not super complicated but I can't do it, so anyone that can is really fancy in my eyes) and can kill a human with just a look, but the dude can't fight apparently. He lets himself die thinking that Satan Jr. is going to bring him back, but he doesn't so...dude put his loyalty in the wrong demon.
55. Count Dooku (Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith)
"You have hate. You have anger. But you don't use them."
Count Dooku was the big baddie by the end of Episode II so to show the growth in Anakin's skills, a rematch happens at the beginning of the film. Count Dooku puts up a good fight but in the end, Anakin ends up defeating the Dark Lord and decapitating him after encouragement from Palpatine.
54. Thomas and Martha Wayne (Batman Begins)
"And why do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up."
First time this decade that we have to witness the death of Bruce's parents, a robbery gone wrong. Of course the dad had to be super awesome to Bruce and was constantly helping him get over his fear of bats after the kid was attacked by a swarm of them. Even as he laid dying next to his already dead wife he still made sure Bruce was ok the entire time.
53. Manute (Sin City)
"McCarthy, you shit!"
The big bad henchmen sent after Gail and her prostitutes. He's like Marv with his random strength that knocks people and objects across the room but towards the end of the chapter he's featured in its proven he's not bulletproof as well because he gets sprayed by the same prostitutes he was trying to take down.
52. General Grievous (Star Wars: Episode III-Revenge of the Sith)
"Army or not, you must realize, you are doomed."
I couldn't tell if this robot was actually alive because it seemed to have a really bad cough but I didn't think droids had lungs. Then in his fight with Obi-Wan, it's revealed he does have organs after Kenobi rips off his armor. He should've been more threatening, especially since he can wield four light sabers at a time, but he was taken down pretty easily after a long chase scene.
51. Typhoid, Stone, and Tattoo (Elektra)
"You know, I used to be the Treasure and I don't like being replaced."
These three were the bad guys Elektra feared at first, but when it came to fighting them she kinda took them down with ease. There's a fourth guy but he dies before we even see his talent or learn his name (plus he's killed by Mark, who's the weakest character in the film). Stone is the obviously "muscle" in the group but lacks the common sense to move out of a the way when a giant, falling tree comes down on him. Tattoo, who's powers are cool in theory (his tattoos come to life) but apparently they don't actually do damage so he's mainly all talk. Finally there's Typhoid who has the kiss of death and also used to be the Treasure before joining the dark side. She dies pretty quickly too.
