i cant believe ciel and the god eater 2 protagonist are deeply in love. canonically
#nonsense.#this is half a joke because im thinking abt rue and ciel and HRRNDGHFKLDGF#but also like. ge1 and 2 both are definitely fighting to imply that the pc and the Main Girl (alisa; ciel) are a thing#which is like. a whole other thing abt how the game obviously assumes that the vast majority of players will be straight dudes#but anyway alisa and the pc in 1 is cute but a.) other girls having equally loud and obvious crushes on the pc#sorta makes alisa's stand out less#and b.) soma comes across as at least as devoted if not more so which again lessens alisa's feelings#and in 2 julius's devotion is less to The Player Character specifically and more to the team as a whole#particularly romeo#so hes not taking up a Crush Spot the same way#and while some of the other girls are implied 2 maybe have feelings for the ge2 pc not nearly 2 the same extent that ciel is#this game clearly written for straight men but luckily im a bi fem and so are my pcs so#tis only right that they be drowning in girls who wants 2 kiss them#(ge3 is definitely trying to pair the pc w claire but its ship tease w hugo also feels very intentional#vs the ship tease w soma which feels like the writers genuinely didnt realize#so thats sorta a different convo)
