SO the first one that comes to my mind is controlled descent by ryttu3k! both of us started writing our fics around the same time so it was the first fic i kept up with in this fandom!! its SO GOOD and i highly recommend to anyone who has not read it yet. its an au where most of the aurora crew survive and live on the ship!! :oo

SPEAKING OF RYTTU3K... their fic exhale is also one of my personal favs!!! its bart lives au, which is always the greatest au i could hope for! also they're an amazing writer omg, and theyre also rlly nice!! i highly highly recommend them!!!!! ik i already said that BUT FR THEIR FICS ARE AMAZING AND THEYRE A RLLY SWEET PERSON....

MOVING ONWARDS, I LOVE LOVE LOVE: we are different, but together we might just make it out alive! made by TheHitoro! once again an everyone (or at least more than ryley) lives au!! amazing characterizions, amazing writing, top notch au! seal of approval from me i love it so much please read it omg

and i absolutely could not leave out ioWall's Fish AU!! these are a collection of oneshots as opposed to one giant fic, great for reading in parts!! ALSO ITS SO GOOD!!! its got a lot of the same hcs as my own fic, and they even used the same names (WHICH I CRY OVER SO MUCH. IOWALL I OWE U MY LIFE I RADIATE HAPPINESS ANYTIME I SEE U IN MY NOTIFS) so im glued to this thing i ADORE it omg. check it out!!!! its one of the most underrated ones in this list buts its FANTASTIC :ooo

AND FINALLY one of my absolute favorites of all time, that ive read probably like 20 times over by now, degasi, also written by TheHitoro. can u tell i have a taste in my subnautica aus yet. hint: I LOVE THE DEGASI SO SO SO MUCH. i will read ANY fic that includes at least 1 member of the degasi. an au where they all live?? and dont get seperated?? and actually start to learn to get along?? IM SOLD!! IM SOLD 1000% I WILL READ ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH THE DEGASI. and extra extra bonus points for being amazingly written! the characters are absolutely on point, i can hear all the dialogue in the characters voices perfectly bc they NAIL the degasi. really good!!!
