I'm waffling with whether I agree with this overall post. 😂

Headcanons are fine. They don't "damage" anything, not even when it's a stereotype. They don't erase anything. They're headcanons and cannot hurt anyone - not even if someone changes them in response to events in the show. After all, people change their orientations in real life. Yes, it might point toward a bias that it's probably good to examine. But it's entirely possible that original Jinx is aro and AU Jinx is not. Sexuality is not a necessary constant across universes or even a necessary marker of core character identity (which is not something we can measure so who the heck knows). We don't know that that interpretation isn't the correct canon. Also, maybe she's 100% straight the entire time! Or maybe she's lesbian and the other guy is trans and never said (like elsewhere in the show). No proof either way, Jinx is just so busy terrorizing people. 😂

As for Viktor: we have no actual proof he's NOT aro, either. Even up to the very end of the show, you can read this relationship as platonic. You can read it as romantic. You can read it as aro. You can read it as sexual. You can read it as asexual. The verdict is ENTIRELY in the viewer's hands. It's my decision as much as yours. There isn't enough canon evidence to confirm one way or the other. No, not even if it's "important" to be queer. If that relationship is platonic to someone, then it's platonic, and that's what's more important. If someone's viewing experience is so far in one direction that they didn't consider anything else, all it means is that, wow, they were super invested. Good for them! It doesn't "say a lot about someone." It says nothing.

There's supposedly a trans character in the show, but we're given no canon evidence for that. Most people will never know it. With no canon evidence, you get to have whatever interpretation you want and it's just as "real" and "important" and "powerful" as any other interpretation. That's the beauty of an ambiguous storyline, and also the frustration (depending on your personal point of view).

At the same time, definitely, people need to know when their interpretation is just a headcanon versus confirmed canon. Too many people act like headcanons are canon, or they act like an obvious interpretation is "weird" when really it's their own behavior that's weird. You can "deny" an interpretation in that you simply do not choose to view something that way, but you still have to acknowledge that other interpretations are possible. You also can't ignore the reality of canon.

Clearly these above posts are all for a very specific interpretation, which is super important to them. And that's fine. It's still just one headcanon, it's not a default, and importance is only in the eye of the beholder. Any other headcanon is just as valid and important.

And nothing is canon unless it's explicitly shown.

Or vice versa, everything is canon until proven otherwise. :)

Hot take and not to be a killjoy or the shipping police but people treating Viktor or Jinx's aroace headcanons as if they were canon is not the revolutionary take people think it is.

Headcanons are always all right but we have to acknowledge that they are somehow damaging when they apply to stereotypes. It might not be the case for everyone but most of the time people unconsciously assume that disability/mental illness=asexuality. These headcanons erase the freedom of attraction from people who are already seen as unable to have sexual/romantic experiences/desires, when it's completely untrue and harmful.

You can headcanon Viktor and Jinx as aroace, but I have seen people changing their minds once Viktor is no longer disabled (s2 with all of his other forms) and Jinx is no longer as mentally ill (alternate universe Powder). And it speaks wonders of how people see these characters.

"I never thought about Jinx being able to feel romantic/sexual attraction until s2!" To believe she's actually only capable of that when she's not "damaged" is incredibly disturbing. Especially since Jinx has always had a bit of a flirty personality too.

"I've always seen Viktor as asexual, I don't know why!" That's fine. You can headcanon him as ace. But I believe there is a reason behind it, most of the time, if for some inexplicable reason the "vibes" of the disabled character are making you think he's ace.

I say all of this being aroaspec myself, by the way. Headcanon all you want but going to people's posts commenting how "it's weird for you that they have romantic/sexual plots when they're clearly aroace" is not a win at all. It's a headcanon, after all, and it should be treated as such, and that's fine. But it also is damaging to spread stereotypes like these.

Of course the disabled character is asexual. Of course the mentally ill character is aromantic. It's not as revolutionary as you might think, tbh.

Fandom is not activism and it's all right to have any headcanons you want BUT some of them are filled with damaging stuff and perhaps we should look into ourselves more before treating these assumptions as something canon.

I will never understand the notion that Zuko was the only one to support to Katara or that Zuko supported Katara more than Aang. Like that’s objectively false.

As someone who likes lots of hero X villain ships, and plenty of Good Girl X Bad Guy ships in particular, let me explain: it's just a popular cope/lie to justify hating on the good guy that is either part of a love triangle, and thus the bad guy's rival, or the only real love interest for the girl in cases of "fanon love triangles" like the Kataang VS Zutara one.

Lots of people who like that kind of dynamic, or simply rooting for the bad guy, are, for some reason, uncomfortable with the fact that these dynamics can get (and sometimes forever remain) messy, toxic, unhealthy or downright abusive, and that the bad guy is, in fact, bad and will do evil things to harm the hero, even if they are canonically in love (and again, the romance sometimes isn't even canon to begin with).

So they try to fix that "problem" by pretending the "evil love interest" was the only one that actually cared, and either never did anything to genuinely harm the romantic lead or did so much good stuff that it balances it out.

Meanwhile the "morally correct/default choice" is always demonized and talked about as a character that is not only boring, but also secretly selfish, controling, uncaring and/or abusive, yet the writers refuse to acknowledge is not the saint they claim he is. That is done solely to make the "bad guy" look better in comparison. Only twice in my life have I ever seen the "good guy" in the love triangle genuinely be as bad as the fandom says they are - Ted Mosby from How I Met Your Mother and Riley Finn from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Pretty much every other time I've seen fans use that argument? It was total bullshit.

That's literally all there is to the nonsense 'argument' of "Zuko cared about Katara even when he was still a bad guy, but Aang acted worse than he ever did all while being the hero the show never calls out." It's disregarding canon almost completely and creating an alternative version of the story that goes out of it's way to glorify Zuko's every action, while demonizing Aang, solely for the sake of saying "Therefore Zutara should have been canon and endgame instead of Kataang."

That's why they talk about nonsense like "Zuko was the only one to ever help Katara with chores during camp, while Aang expected her to be do everything by herself just because she's a girl." It never happened, but if it had it'd make Zutara look better than Kataang, so they just convince themselves that's what happened and repeat it to everyone else.

You'll never understand the logic in these arguments because there is none to be found in the first place, and you can't reason with these people because they simply don't care what happened in the show. They only care about their version of Avatar. The "Zuko" and "Aang" they describe in their fics, metas and headcanons are completely separate from the actual Zuko and Aang.

like 😭? ed holds a certain degree of authority over izzy as his captain and someone izzy projects his own fantasies onto, but izzy holds an IMMENSE amount of power over ed, and has for a while and maybe even ALWAYS has been building it up, and that fantasy plays into it. abuse occurs when someone holds power over another person and misuses that power and causes them harm, even if that person is "unaware" they're doing it... it's not complex and it's nothing to do with what's "typical", a parent can abuse their offspring, an adult child can abuse their parent. it's about the power dynamic. their relationship is incredibly imbalanced and it's always been in IZZY'S favour, his role is LITERALLY meant to liken to like an evil advisor whispering in ed's ear – an imbalanced, toxic dynamic where ed is the victim with false control over the situation, because the entire point is izzy wants him to be The Best He Can Be (a ruthless pirate).

izzy eventually getting hurt physically in retaliation isn't ABUSE because ed isn't enacting what little authority he does have over izzy (who allows him to have it as izzy finds perverse joy in SEEING ed use that authority against him and Be the fantasy he wants ed to be), he's just fucking retaliating to being taunted by someone who hates him. izzy got physically hurt, sure, but he was not ever scared of or threatened by ed, ed did not hold any further power over him other than the fear in any man's mind who knew they fucked around and found out and got fucking shot for it.

when ed severed their connection with that bullet he severed izzy's hold over him to a vast degree, but that still doesn't mean he then held an equal amount of power over izzy in his place. and ed even had the insane heart to actually feel bad about hurting him and forgive him for everything else 😭. izzy literally acknowledges this IN THE SHOW. it's actually concerning the lengths people will go to defend an aspect of a character that is written in the damn script (izzy is a toxic manipulative cunt who wants to control everything ed does who eventually stops doing that because he knows he went too far).

Tsams + Tlaes edition

• Earth is now rolling with the disability squad (welcome queen, we love you, sorry you're here). Given that Moon redirected most of her pain receptors to her legs, she now has issues with mobility in her lower back, hips, knees and ankles.

• Solar also has lasting damage from the separation from his Sun (mostly in code hiccups that impact his balance or weight baring on occassion, from a data-loss in transit on top of a... very specifically callibrated virus that ate at some of his code before it was intercepted. You know what happened there and who took it). He uses a forearm crutch on bad days, and has some braces he made that he wears under his pants.

• Sun has some lasting issues from his separation from Moon, too - when the killcode was left behind, the only way to keep it all sort of balanced out to avoid systemic corruption was for Moon to kinda... scrape pieces away to make up for the exchange. He never told Sun about that, assuming his code would self-repair it if it was harmful. It never did. Sunny doesn't really have an aid yet but he really should use one.

• Solar decides that actually ya know what, fuck all of this shit. And he goes into his files, finds the exact heights and weights for both, and sets to welding. Adjustable braces, canes, forearm crutches, and even some blueprints for walkers or wheelchairs Just In Case. Then he takes the finished projects home, buys all sorts or decorative shit, and summons Earth and Sun.

• they all sit together outside and Solar lays out a tarp. There's no reason to be uncomfortable by needing help, he tells them, so this is gonna make the help fun. He hopes. They all decorate and have a good with it. When earth needs a break, they just curl up together and Sun weaves custom straps for them all, picking threads and just... talking.

• the family gets good at reading when Earth is having a Bad Pain Day - due in part to Solar calling it immediately, no nonsense, or Sun clocking it and immediately going into Big Brother Mode - but it also makes the others recognize how Sunny does similar things. Aggressive love.

• Cleo and Muffin become a source of reference too - it's almost hilarious bc the cats are just "no fuck you all we are GOD" but also the MOMENT Sun, Solar or Earth have a twinge? It's immediately a Miette Moment. "No, we must be held, must purr, must cuddle, must HEAL YOU, protecc, LET US LOVE YOU"

• Dazzle and Jack are very excited to help BTW, idek if I should include this bc it feels obvious. They both just kinda ascend out of the woodwork like "hello I love you, need snackies? Snuggles? How help-?"

• CUDDLE! PUDDLES!!

• color coded heat pads/ice packs.

• it's not uncommon at all for Monty to come home and find Solar and Earth draped partially across the side of the pool, mostly submerged, and Sun either half-in/half out, or straight up laying on the bottom. He installed a fuckin incredible heater to it, making the pool an optional hot tub. He just goes "oh, hey, fellas, hey, baby. Need anything?"

• Earth's cane is pink with teal clouds and yellow, lavender, and white stars w/ sparkles. Her crutches are dark green with hearts all over them in colors she associates with family. ((Both have barbie charms on the straps))

• Solar's crutches were going to be a dark gray with neat techno designs, but Jack accidentally grabbed one with paint on his hands, and Solar decided that it was... kinda cute actually. Family hand prints. He only uses one at a time usually, so he trades them out.

• Sun's are all different. He let the kids design one of his crutches ((the reason Jack had paint-hands with Solar's)) and the one from them is kind of... cream? Ish?? With stickers, googly eyes, lopsided smiley faces, rainbows, and a blob that is supposedly a unicorn. His other crutch is sort of like a sunset, light at the top, dark at the bottom, with his favorite constellations scattered throughout. The cane is sparkly gold with red ribbons along the handle.

I write Caesar as an adult, around 25 to 27 years old.

Caesar takes a sisterly role within the Sons of Calydon. She prefers the group to be a found family rather than just a gang. Therefore, she also tries to ensure the emotional support her members might need in times of trouble.

Pretty bad with money calculations. Lucy always has to help her to make sure there is enough money left for savings and emergency cases.

She really likes playing the piano and similar instruments because it not only reminds her of the hope it stands for, but also because it brings people together; it makes people gather around, smile and talk as if the reality they live in didn't matter.

Whenever there is a challenge, Caesar is ready. She doesn't have to prove herself, but she will. Challenges and the rush of adrenaline are simply too good to let it pass.

The type of person to enter the most random and stupid kind of bet.

Despite having her prosthetic hand for quite some years now, she still isn't able to tell how much force she puts into it. This leads to the amount of broken glasses every month Lucy complains about. However, it is not just her hand. Generally, she just doesn't seem to be able to calculate the strength she has, leading to many repairing costs in the headquarters.

Caesar also sometimes forgets her prosthetic after removing it for the night. Usually, it takes Lucy or Piper to remind her to bring her second hand.

A bit of a sleep talker, mumbling a lot of nonsense usually. She is, however, a tight sleeper, so waking her up before the sun rises can be quite the hassle.

Her interest in romance novels is STRICTLY TOP SECRET!!! She will deny any accusations any time, do not approach her about this topic unless you are prepared for the reaction. She very, very carefully plans it all out whenever she wants to rent a tape from Random Play or watch a movie at the cinema.

Caesar is quite trusting and is willing to give everyone a second and third chance. Once the trust has been broken, she is also willing to amend it, but will draw a line when others come to harm.

Her sense of taste is terrible. She generally eats and drinks anything, even recommending Burnice's wildest mixes! If someone were to offer her a sand cake, she would eat it.

Gets hungover quickly, so she has to be careful about how much she actually drinks.

Due to being a bit naive, she realizes someone has been flirting with her pretty late. She dreams of her own fateful encounter with love, but always stands in her own way when someone actually shows interest in her.

She took the loss of her parents very badly as a child, crying and isolating herself. It took quite some time until Big Daddy, who had adopted her, was able to pull her out of that dark place. The Sons of Calydon are not just an homage to her father's legacy, but also her actual family that she wishes to protect now that she is strong enough to do so.

Genesis makes no f---ing sense as a character.

I know, shocking coming from the guy whose comfort character is the redheaded asshole from Banora, but I can fully acknowledge bad and stereotyped writing. So I'm going to say it:

Genesis is an inconsistent and poorly written villain.

Fandom really has to work overdrive to get him to make sense. But hey, at least he cute. It's funny though because HCs of him tend to be more consistent than in game.

As a child of adoptive parents myself, his whole adoption arc is a harmful stereotype + doesn't make sense. Why would he kill his parents and then the game tell us he loved them and they loved him? It reeks of the stupid belief that blood relations are the only ones worth having.

And then you have the very weird friendship/rivalry which doesn't get explained in any way so people just assume he's a narcissistic jealous prick, but I wouldn't be surprised if actually it's because he's set up to always be in Sephiroth's shadow no matter what he accomplishes. So we're left with this weird friendship that doesn't make sense and why on Earth would Genesis and Sephiroth even consider each other friends when we don't have anything to demonstrate that?

There could have been a really good political story there about the popularity contest that SOLDIER is (which is mentioned in game), but no it's just classic Disney-style queer coded villain who acts in ways that don't make sense and that's why he's a 'bad guy'.

But then we get turned around again because people in SOLDIER did actually respect him and like him. We get told he's actually a really great guy and everyone is confused by his actions, and we the audience are too because SURPRISE the motive is thin at best

Then they say that Genesis comes back as a good guy after Dirge? And what were we meant to take with the whole G-Files nonsense? Are we lead to believe that Genesis is meant to lead the WRO? What the fuck is going on with this character? How? I thought he was a murderous asshat?

The only way I can make sense of it all is to have several HCs that are somewhat able to glue this all together. And the biggest one is that CC is told through Zack's eyes - an unreliable narrator.

We don't ever see Genesis murder his family or Banora, we are told that he did so. We don't see that he is jealous, we are told that his desire to be seen as Sephiroth's equal is 'petty' so we just assumed he hasn't got what it takes - that somehow he is inferior (although Apocalypse is the most OP limit break) and again, we aren't shown why. We're made to assume a lot about his character and the poor writing just gets poorer to try to reinforce something that doesn't make sense.

Huge missed opportunity to have any discourse on the corruption of the Shinra corporation and how they saw them as pawns in some game (lol), and instead we get this very weird lone-wolf villain who actually turned out to be right about wanting to destroy Shinra. It's weird.

Also Genesis' new VA isn't a great fit and reduces him down to being an arrogant Disney villain. The original VA gave him a lot more nuance, softness and humanity, now he's just a bit of a um, grating caricature? I don't know, it was a CHOICE that really contributed to his incongruent character.

So the headcanons I need to maintain in order to make sense of him (and so it doesn't just sound like people in a room just threw crap on the drawing board to make him sound villainy when they realised he didn't come across as 'evil' enough which contradicts the whole- you get my point by now I think):

Zack is an unreliable narrator who doesn't know Genesis at all, and because of that we have someone who can only utilise propaganda and very limited info that he has learned of him. He has no first-hand experience of Genesis at all, and when he does, Genesis doesn't feel the need to show any side of him except what Zack wants to see.

Genesis is not considered popular by Shinra standards (perhaps a scandal?) or potentially threatens the image they created of Sephiroth, so they attribute many of his achievements to Sephiroth.

Sephiroth is tired of Genesis being mad at him for not getting recognition for his work, and Sephiroth doesn't help much by poking the fire here and there.

If Angeal is considered to be somewhat Lawful Good, he wouldn't join Genesis if the guy was the maniac we were led to believe.

Genesis did not murder his parents. I know someone will say that some murderers do show love towards their victims, but nothing about Genesis suggests he would behave in such a way. This is the weirdest outlier in his behaviour.

The people who joined him did so willingly, and not out of a sense of duty to SOLDIER, but a sense of duty to him.

And the most important headcanon of all:

As for my 1600 AU. This is an Alternate Universe. Another historical time and another headcanons. Nobody's stopping me change the historical period, costume and age of the characters because it's fiction. They live in a story that has development. They can't be 15 or 20 y.o. for years. For clarity, there are no underage characters in my visual stories.

I think everyone knows in the manga industry there is a cult of a teenager. Most of the plots are built around teenage characters. It's in trend. This is the only way I can explain why Araki gave his characters 15 years old. Can you imagine that schoolboy became a police officer or led the mafia? I'm not. It's impossible. In JoJo the age of some main characters is lowered according trends. Let me take it so.

Fun fact. I used the #brutrish or #brugio tag only to mark the characters depicted. Then I didn't know that content creators use this to mean some relationships. I often use the "×" or different symbols instead of "&" for example just to decorate the text part. But even this detail becomes a reason to accuse the artists of terrible things. Frankly, it all is beyond my comprehension.

Maybe I had to figure out the meaning of some tags first and be more careful. But I'm not responsible for the shit in other people's heads.

Starting with David, he's able to tolerate her but she has an attitude like Marko so she can be a bit of a smartass sometimes. Whenever she pulls that shit with him he might snap at her but she could give less of a shit. She doesn't hate him but she really pushes her luck with him a lot just to see what his limits are like. But overall, David treats her the best he can because Marko won't tolerate David being mean to her.

Moving onto Dwayne, he's pretty impassive at first but he soon grows to like her more. While she tends to have a wild side to her compared to most other girls he's met, she's also fairly grounded and isn't completely dense which is a nice change for him. He also admires how well she gets along with Laddie. Also bonus points cuz he has a skating buddy now :)

Paul and Jordan are two halves of a whole moron, Paul loves getting absolutely zonked with her and having really stupid conversations that soon turn existential really fast. And if they aren't doing that they are blasting music on the rock box being an absolute nuisance to everyone else. Sometimes he'll ask her to draw shit on his arms just for the funsies.

Do I even need to say anything about how Marko feels? He was fairly enamored by her at first glance, but after having a few convos with her, he became head over heels for her. He would do anything for her, he would kill anyone who even looks at her wrong. They both have fiery attitudes and can get into very and I mean VERY stupid arguments that end in the occasional fight but it always ends with them making up in the end and then usually laughing about it. She ends up loving him more than she thought she would after he proves that he can be trusted and that he means no harm (poor girl has trust issues after her previous relationship). Basically they are the crazy ass couple you don't fuck with.

Star didn't know what to think of her when she first met her. She was a little wary of her because she almost seemed like bad news going off of first impressions. But she ended up warming up to her as she proved to be a lot nicer than she initially thought. As for Jordan, she was kinda nervous to talk to her because she could tell she wasn't a fan of her being in the cave. (also she was flustered by how pretty she was) They both could bond together having girl talk which soon led to how Jordan ended up getting her ear pierced with the lil rubber ducky.

Laddie sees Jordan as the crazy asf older sister like how Paul is the crazy asf older brother. Whenever Laddie is feeling down, Jordan will do whatever it takes to make him feel better. Jordan sometimes babysits him and they end up watching MTV in her room at her house. Although she gets reckless with him sometimes, like skateboarding through Santa Carla with him holding onto her back for dear life as she weaved through traffic and almost sent hem off a cliff. Dwayne wasn't too happy but by the end, Laddie told Jordan that it was better than any ride he's ever been on at the boardwalk.

(At this point my usual headcanon is that the emersons and frogs had went through the whole incident but it ended in a truce between humans and vamps, so I will be going off of of that for now.)

Jordan met the frogs even before she was a vamp so they had prior interaction, it was mostly just them having stupid back and forths about nonsense, and even when she became a vamp...that didn't really change anything. The frogs are mostly just wary of her and don't completely trust her, especially after hearing she was hanging with the Lost Boys. Jordan will sometimes enter their shop to ask them occasional questions about vampires cuz she knows jack shit about them. And when they aren't in the shop, they are hanging with Sam. This ends in Jordan opening Sam's window unannounced as they are doing god knows what which scares the shit out of all of them.

Speaking of which Sam is fine with her, but hates how unpredictable she can be sometimes. Entering his home unannounced is one example, sometimes she may need to talk to one of the emersons about something so what does she do? Enter through Sam's window... Every. Single. Time. Even with that though, they still are cool with each other. Jordan sometimes brings him a comic he was be looking for just for compensation.

Michael and Jordan are apart of the "Manipulated into drinking blood by an attractive guy" club. So they tend to talk about their frustrations and they seem to relate to each other quite a bit more than they ever thought they would. They are both just losers, but they are losers who have each other.

Lucy reminds Jordan of her own mother a whole lot, so she tries to be nice to her as much as possible. Sometimes for days when she shows up unannounced, she'll talk to Lucy if she senses something wrong with her. Sometimes her kids get distant so it's nice to have Jordan to talk to and vent to.

Grandpa scares the shit out of Jordan, he will say something that comes off as a threat to her, but ends up laughing about it saying he's just messing with her. Jordan doesn't know if he really is though...

Now if she was a canon character, she would die trying to avenge Marko. As for how she would die, it would probably be after she does something impulsive out of blind rage. Like she's goes after Sam but ends up getting caught up in a bunch up wires and cable which she tries to escape from by biting them. Sam tries to warn her not to do that but it's too late and she suffers a similar fate to Dwayne. Sam almost feels bad because she was only trying to avenge her lover who they took away from her, and her own death wasn't even his own doing.

What horror tropes would the koi kids be? 👻

Yuiji

Yuiji is the side character who accidentally got caught in the plot. He wasn't even eavesdropping, but he opened the door to the first dead body and unfortunately he's stuck with the main characters now. He has deadpan eyes whenever the axe murderer stalker or whatever bursts through the door yet again. He's completely level-headed but also completely resigned to the madness he's found himself in. He's reluctantly going along with the flow for the whole movie but also thinks of random, genius plans that gets the squad out of tight scenarios.

Yamato

CLEARLY the main character. Popular at school, ace soccer player, and accidentally witnesses the first death. He's scared out of his mind, but tries to keep a cool front to lead his friends to apprehend and stop the murderer/monster. The big movie ending is probably gathering up the jocks from the other teams to hunt down the big bad with baseball bats, cricket bats, and American Football helmets. If the big bad is supernatural though, Yamato's probably getting possessed in the final act and his friends have to save him.

Hongou

Hongou was the first to die in my death game headcanons, and alas, he's not going to escape that role for the horror movie headcanons LOL Innocent, cheery Hongou would absolutely be the first character to bite the dust.

Nacchan

Nacchan would probably be the innocent virgin (UGH HATE THIS TROPE) female main character who has top notch grades and is great friends with Yamato, but hates his sweaty, jocky friends. Once she's thrown in the chaos of the horror plot though, she is forced to confront her cowardice and lack of self-initiative. She learns to rely on herself and her leadership skills and ends up saving her friends more than once. Finds herself in a better place at the end of the movie and is willing to explore more of life outside of academics.

Seki

Yamato's best friend who probably ends up dying at the last act to save everyone else 😭😭I think he might be the character who secretly knows the identity of the villain the entire time, but can't bring himself to say who it is because of personal ties/guilt. Probably indirectly responsible for a few of the deaths, so he decides to take responsibility for it by throwing himself in harms way to stop the big bad for good.

Mayu

The delinquent who always skips school PLEASE HAHA I'D LOVE TO SEE MAYU LIKE THIS. She and Nacchan are at odds in the beginning of the movie, but realize all of the similarities they share from their overbearing parents to constantly being mistaken for being their best friend's girlfriend. She's completely cool-headed and down to brawl if the big bad is physical, but if it's supernatural, she loses her wits and is on Team Scream-and-Run-Away.

Sakura

Sakura has ALL the red herrings. There are so many signs that he's actually the bad guy that there's no way it's actually him. He's the standoffish kid that transferred over from a private school for an unknown reason, and there are rumors that he was kicked out for bullying someone, but it turns out that the bullies planted the evidence on him. Whether the big bad is physical or supernatural, Sakura is probably our lore dump character and has a secret fascination with anything cult/ghost/cryptid.

Akiyama

Akiyama is the only student at the school who is wants to befriend Sakura because he is The Himbo. He probably accidentally gets Sakura wrapped up in the horror nonsense which definitely draws a lot of ire from the transfer student, but Akiyama saves him multiple times and eventually does earn his friendship. Akiyama is also probably the stoner trope LOL with random flashes of inspiration on how to stop the big bad.

I'll, admit, when 3Hopes came out, that was a messy state for my perception. I don't remember too much and I doubt I got the whole story. I don't even know if I still hold most of the views I had from my initial reactions to that story and characterizations. I was pulling multiple all-nighters, watching whatever out-of-order playthroughs I could scrape up, because it wasn't even technically released in my time zone yet. That sleepiness may have askewed my opinions of the story. But also, I am pretty dumb, and I wouldn't think myself exempt from bad opinions. So I keep praying no one found my initial reactions to 3Hopes and isn't writing some rant over an opinion or 5 that I don't hold anymore. But still, even those posts are all important documentation of my fandom experience to me, and I don't want to make my blog no longer about that, even the messy parts, just because other people happen to be digging through my nonsense blog, looking for a fight (that I don't want).

So I'll admit it: I remember writing some posts or 3 about 3Hopes Claude "still being in-character" and "still the same Claude". But apparently there's a whole racist section of the fandom who eagerly wished for Claude to adhere to some kind of stereotypical perception of "brown man bad"???? I may be a brown girl, but I am EXTREEEEEEEMELY sheltered, so I didn't even know about stereotypes about "brown people assumed to be scheming/untrustworthy," etc., until a few video essays and the Claude fandom ranting about certain parts of the FE3H fandom being racist about him. I had no idea. And I don't want to go looking for exposure to its specifics, so I just take everyone's word for it. But I seriously thought that any headcanons about "dark Claude" that I came across were no different than "dark AUs" and "dark fics", about angst and emo tragedy. Y'know…like dark "what if"s…Were people really taking that to racist degrees?

Anyway, I don't want people to think "hoping for dark Cluade" was what I meant. When I said 3Hopes Claude "is still the same Claude; he just stumbled along the way", I meant that he still has that compassion, that same warmth, and his dream. …Though maybe by 3Hopes, his dream has been compromised, and I was very likely in denial---even WHILE I was writing essays about how killing Shahid was devastating to Claude BECAUSE it forced him to doubt his ideals/dreams. I still thought that after such internal conflicts, Claude eventually got back up from that stumble, to strive towards his dream again. …Even if he wasn't doing it as well as in FE3H. (Still really disappointed Golden Wildfire Claude killed Rhea at the end, vs talking her into peace. Isn't he supposed to be the silver-tongued negotiator? The alternative to Edelgard's "war for enough control to weed out those who do harm" and Dimitri's "war to re-stabilize after the initial conflict"?) And I do agree with that video essayist or whoever said Claude's characteristic curiosity to find the truth, was degraded in 3Hopes, leading him to make decisions based on as faulty knowledge as FE3H Crimson Flower Edelgard.

But despite plot points that reflected badly on Claude's 3Hopes character, especially in contrast to his FE3H characterization, I still stand by some of my initial reactions to 3Hopes: I like how Golden Wildfire really showcased Claude's angst. I know half of his decisions were bad and if he had better information (like his original FE3H curiosity for truth), he likely wouldn't have felt so trapped into such bad options. But I'd be lying if I said it didn't make GW Claude interesting. Not a better character, but interesting. 3Hopes Claude wasn't a better person than FE3H Claude, but he was interesting. Interesting, if your tastes are in emo tragedy---the tragedy being the "dramatic irony" of the audience knowing that such actions weren't necessary, but the character thinking they have no other choice than to do the painful, cruel, or more evil thing. Code Geass is one of my top 3 personal favorite anime, after all. It's just my thing. (Which is why I am continually astounded at my disinterest in Edelgard, after everyone kept comparing Crimson Flower to Code Geass.) I KNOW that narrative trick of focusing in on the anti-hero's angst over enacting bad decisions is just a trick to get us to overlook their negative actions. But damn it, it's still pretty effective on me. I like the angst! What can I say? That on-screen emotiveness really grabs my sympathy. I can't help it, even if it's just suckering me into sympathzing for an anti-hero while they do actions as bad as Code Geass's Lelouch. (I've always assumed Crimson Flower did the same trick for Edelgard, but sorry, I'm not going to take the time for Crimson Flower, when, despite how much I like angst, I also much more prefer happy ending paragons, like FE3H Claude.) 3Hopes Claude is an interesting "what if", but I still idolize FE3H Claude, while 3Hopes Claude is just "oh, that sad AU".

I like 3Hopes Claude's purple outfit, but I'm still reluctant to buy any merch of him, because I'd much rather remember FE3H Claude's shining example of hope. When 3Hopes was previewed, I put 3Hopes Claude on my WonFes bingo wishlist; after, I took him off and kept my multiple wishes for FE3H Claude figurines. I totally get why FE3H Claude fans dislike 3Hopes Claude. If I was sold on a paragon of Hope in the first game, I too would be disappointed to be suckered into a messy anti-hero story. But I will take solace in him having a similar warmth in his 3Hopes Support cutscenes. (And I did like 3Hopes showing Roundtable Conferences and Claude as king, initiating including commoners into the Conferences.)

But again, I'm still confused over the idea that Claude is EITHER "funny ha-ha meme lord" OR "super serious paragon with only super serious themes/insights about war". I love Claude because he is BOTH. If he was just a stalwart paragon, I'd be just as disinterested in him as Academy Dimitri. (Though I did eventually come to love Dimitri too, though secondarily.) I love Claude because of his warmth and playful compassion, on top of his ideals and his exemplary striving to live according to his ideals. But I also love how he casually inserts all his big, compassionate ideals for a better world, into so many of his interactions, even at the most minute of instances. And he's able to do that BECAUSE of how casually he treats Compassion as the everyday, ubiquitous thing it should be. He injects his ideals for a better world into every small decision, because of how open and warm he is, in his playful, rather than formal mannerisms. I think Claude's playfulness makes him more trustworthy than stiff or intimidating. It makes him the type of leader you CAN bring objections and input to, regardless of rank. And I think that approachable trustworthiness also helps better facilitate the world of understanding, regardless of race/nationality/religions, that he's trying to make on a grand scale. So I don't get these Claude fans who hate Joe Ziega for having fun with his character. (I couldn't believe it when I found that corner of Twitter.) But I also don't get people who think Claude is ONLY JUST a "ha-ha funny meme lord". I mean, we can joke about Claude being funny. Because he IS funny and charming. But are there really Claude fans who only take him at that face value and don't see his depth? I haven't been running in those circles, so I'll take critiques of the fandom's word for it. Sounds like such people are missing out on a great perception of Claude.

(Though it did take FE3H Claude a bit of Growth to understand his dream is best facilitated through emotional bonds, beyond his unfazable facades in the face of criticisms/antagonism---FE3H Claude only had LITTLE more to grow in my opinion. I still maintain that FE3H Claude had already mostly actualized by the time he reached Fodlan. That's another instance of how he narratively serves as contrast to Edelgard and Dimitri. In this case, specifically reflected in how much less he NEEDED Byleth to emotionally stabilize him. Again, for you Claudeleth shippers, I'm the type who idealizes WANT, over NEED to be in a relationship. And an already-actualized partner is way more ideal than someone who needs you to fix them, in my opinion.)

On your point of anti sns sasuke fans: they tend to have a massive hate boner for naruto - it's typically the crux of their hate for sns if not homophobia (a lot of the time, both are working hand-in-hand). To me, it simply indicates that they are unable to engage critically with naruto's character due to their obsessive meatriding regarding sasuke's self-destructive path of revenge and their pathological need for sasuke to end up as miserable as them. The martyrdom they throw at him is insane. Though perhaps not as insane as the delusion they possess as soon as sasuke's and naruto's bond is brought up. Lol.

They self-insert into sasuke's character, mistaking headcanon for Canon (e.g. sasuke never cared about naruto... like did we even read the same manga? Braindead.) and place their own dissatisfaction in the real world onto sasuke. Ignoring all the times naruto spent Agonising over sasuke, trying his hardest to understand sasuke post-vote1 (sasuke, who was his first ever bond. The only person bar iruka who truly understood him as a person, not a monster or a weapon or a burden, and loved him anyways) and even when he didn't, he STILL sacrificed himself for sasuke constantly, just as sasuke did for him. He allowed the cloud nin, righteously angry at sasuke for trying to kill Bee, to partake in their own revenge (sound familiar??) in the place of sasuke and they beat the shit out of him yet naruto TOOK IT because he loved that boy. Truly. Irrevocably. He never wanted harm upon him.

They like to wax on and on with their dressed-up literary analyses, giving lukewarm takes that ultimately land on tired, overused "konoha bad sasuke good naruto evil sns toxic" nonsense. Fundamentally misunderstanding not only sasuke's entire characterisation (the reasons that make him one of the greatest shonen deuteragonists of all time) but also, subsequently, the entirety of the naruto series. The concept of Sasuke choosing love (his love for naruto specifically, something we see him do consistently throughout the manga) over self-destructing hatred is completely foreign to them.

This isn't to say sasuke's need for revenge and ideologies are wrong, sasuke himself eventually abandons the notion of revenge (anything to give him closure) instead devotes himself to changing the shinobi world - extreme his methods may be. This also isn't to say naruto's ideologies are wrong either: to want to unite the shinobi nations and using empathy and understanding to resolve conflict instead of continuing the cycle of violence, isnt a bad thing, it's actually very good - naive it may be in the grand scheme of things.

It's willful ignorance, as you say. They wish so dearly that sasuke DID hate naruto, that sasuke would've killed him if he had the chance, that sasuke wasnt equally, if not more, obsessed with naruto than naruto was with him, that sasuke wasnt completely in love with the boy. But even readers who think even semi-objectively and understand the central themes even loosely realise this was never the case.

At the end of the day, it's a mix of self-insertion, homophobia that's ingrained in many, a lack of critical thinking skills, ignorance, or straight up delusion (certain shippers of certain ships *cough cough*)

Ahhh, sorry for the rant op. I have many a thoughts about these two knuckleheads and the braindead fandom that unfortunately follows them.

Beautiful analysis as per usual.

In my very short time in this fandom, I have been able to understand one thing. The reason why a lot of shippers and fans don’t want to even consider Sasuke and Naruto’s bond as romantic or that Sasuke and Naruto could possibly be gay, is because they simply don’t see the reason to. 

And no matter how much you appeal to their common sense or rationality, they won’t. 

Naruto is a shounen manga designed keeping teenagers in mind. I don’t know why Kishi thought it would be a good idea to write a gay love story in shounen, considering its limitations, but he did. And look how it turned out. An all out disaster in the end.

I have been attacked by five different SS and NH shippers on my blog in the last two days. And they got abusive, really abusive. When I looked at their arguments, they were all basically the same, identical. No amount of reasoning could get through their heads. They couldn’t tell the difference between canon and non-canon, canon and headcanon. They would feel completely at home devising uncorroborated ‘proofs’ for headcacons such as Sasuke does love Sakura, Sakura is a strong female character, Hinata was Naruto’s first bond, Naruto and Sasuke are brothers, Sasuke is a terrorist etc etc.

They simply cannot even fathom that Kishimoto could have written a gay love story in their favourite show with their favourite ship and their favourite self insert. 

A lot of these shippers are very young, they are the target group of this genre. At that age, justifiably so, most cannot comprehend the complexities of life, family, LGBT+ discourse, feminism, narrative, visual language, narrative choices and nuances etc. And agree with it or not, truth is Naruto is not a simplistic story. It is a multilayered and complex story about love, family, political intrigue, belief systems, ethical and societal values, complex gay coming of age issues, philosophical impressions, meditation on war, peace, importance of communication etc. and is quite cinematic in its execution for the most part, with a distinctive style of visual language.

 Apart from the fact that after a point it becomes clear that Kishi could not juggle all these different threads together and went out of his depth, he did manage to create certain narratives that made sense and facilitated the potential for a satisfactory resolution.

Sasuke and Naruto’s story was one of them. 

Sasuke and Naruto are complex characters, so is their bond. Kishi mindfully imbued their bond with numerous nuances and gay coming of age tropes but the problem is, these nuances that denote romantic love between the two went unregistered by the majority of its target audience. A majority of this target group could not even recognize these nuances, let alone understand them. It is also a factor that most viewers can recognise the same nuances in het pairings, but can’t even begin to comprehend them in m/m pairings. It’s unimaginable for them.

TBH, most kids self insert in the shows they watch or stuff they read, whether it’s a ship or a battle or a dramatic situation, whatever. It’s how they learn to understand media, we all did it as kids. A lot of these fans who watched or read Naruto as kids and are adults now, have certain emotional associations with Naruto the series and they won’t let any amount of rational explanation come in the way of that, it’s too personal to them. Which is also understandable. Some of them may be ready to accept gay culture otherwise but they won’t agree that Sasuke and Naruto are gay, that’s why they get so righteously angry when SNS shippers call them homophobic for considering them just friends or brothers. You can’t tell them otherwise because the truth is Naruto manga also has all the other tropes of shounen which are supposedly ‘suitable’ for kids (and I am using the word ‘suitable’ with a pinch of salt here, they would definitely not be suitable for where I come from), and they simply can’t even imagine situating a gay love story in it, which itself is an aberration in this genre. 

You can try engaging with them, but more often than not, it will be pointless. It is not something they need to be told, it is something they need to see for themselves. You can rant and rave about the significance and deeply emotional and romantic meaning of chapter 698, it won’t matter. They won’t be able to understand what they can’t see.

Sure, some of them are plain homophobes or less than bright, but mostly, this gap in understanding of the narrative is because of a misjudged medium on the creators’ part. Because of the limitations of this genre, Kishi couldn’t make Sasuke and Naruto’s romantic relationship explicit, nor could he give it up for the sake of shounen.

Kishimoto, what were you thinking really? I want to know, I really do. Someday, I hope you become courageous enough to admit it, but until that day, I will resent you from the bottom of my heart.

Klaus was pissed hearing that witches of New Orleans was plotting something against him so the hybrid travel down to the city which would allow him to be left alone with you. Elijah had followed to find you since you hadn't called in awhile and also to find out just what the witches were planning.

"I'm Elijah. You heard of me?" Elijah asked Sophie after saving her from vampires. After talking to the witch about her sister, Elijah was taken to the cemetery and the witches couldn't stop you from running to your vampire.

"Elijah!" You shouted throwing your arms around Elijah who growled feeling you shiver as your sundress wasn't doing much to keep you warm. Elijah took off his suit jacket placing it over your shoulders and Hayley walked out seeing Elijah and her heart fluttered with how handsome the vampire was.

Hayley met Klaus, Rebekah and Kol so it was his first time seeing Elijah and found Elijah every attractive. Hayley felt a little jealous seeing the vampire cupping your cheek seemly showering you with affection.

"Why do you have my little wife?" Elijah asked his tone having a dangerous tint to it as his eyes darken keeping you close rubbing your back. Both Hayley and the witches were surprised watching you look up at Elijah muttering something and Elijah raised an eyebrow.

"You think she is pregnant?"

"Come inside where we can talk." Sophie says Elijah followed after with you by his side. Elijah stood with his hands in his pockets as you sat with Hayley.

"I need to find Niklaus. Hayley make sure Y/N stays safe." Elijah said walking out as you sat feeling like crying as Elijah was hard to read and you were scared. It didn't take long for Elijah to come back with Klaus.

"Don't look sad, my Queen. I'll take care of these witches." Klaus said looking over you as Elijah was trying to stay calm as Klaus had placed a hand on your abdomen smiling softly as Hayley got to see the full fury of two of the most dangerous Mikaelsons.

"So you hold my Queen and unborn child as hostage to make me do your dirty work?" Klaus said smirking devilishly eyes darken as Elijah moved to in front of you almost guarding you from the witches.

"We want Marcel gone and you are the one to do it." Sophie said grabbing a knife as the witches were nervous as having two dangerous Originals in the same room.

"And what's stopping me and Elijah from slaughtering you all?" Klaus questioned smirking as Sophie cut her hand and you let out a ylep. Elijah was quick to pull out a handkerchief handing it to Hayley who wrapped it around your hand.

"Not only did the spell proved the pregnancy but also linked me to Y/N. So anything that happens to me happens to her." Sophie said and Elijah was quick to stop Klaus from attacking. Elijah looked at the witches his eyes dark with something they hadn't seen before.

"We'll do this but Y/N and Hayley comes with us or else I'll let my brother slaughter this coven. And Miss Deveraux, I would personally deal with you."

"O.....okay." Sophie said shivering from the fear that flooded her and the other witches. You squealed when Klaus picked you up bridal style carrying you out of the tomb with Elijah beside him telling him to be careful with you.

"So is she like dating all of you?" Hayley asked Elijah as you all headed to a plantation house that Klaus had set up.

"She is. To Niklaus, she is a Queen, to Kol a life partner while Rebekah and I affectionately call her little wife." Elijah says smiling seeing that you fell asleep in Klaus's arms.

"Oh....isn't weird?"

"No. She isn't the first, we've shared a lover before." Elijah tells Hayley opening the door for her seeing Klaus taking you upstairs. As days passed Elijah went missing making Kol and Rebekah drive down worried about Elijah and missing you.

"Kol! Rebekah!" You squealed happily hugging them both as Hayley watched.

"Nik wasn't lying." Kol muttered hearing the heart beat like Rebekah. You tried helping to find Elijah with Rebekah while Kol was helping Klaus and Hayley was reading though Elijah's journal. Rebekah could see you were missing Elijah as you were wearing his botton ups and you only slept in his bed.

"A church?" You asked sitting in Kol's lap as he braiding your hair as Rebekah had came back from learning a general idea on where Elijah was.

"Yes now where is our wolf?"

"Hayley is upstairs."

To say you were overly happy that Elijah was home would be an understatement after Rebekah hugged him. You ran down jumping into Elijah's arms and he caught you with ease.

"Careful, baby. The little one." Elijah says softly pecking your lips as Hayley watched feeling a little jealous.

"Eli, they are still a little jelly bean." You giggle as Elijah raised an eyebrow and Rebekah rolled her eyes.

"Her and Kol has been calling the baby a jelly bean."

"I see. Has Niklaus been good?"

"Over protective. He hasn't let our poor babe leave the house." Rebekah answered as Elijah let you down.

"Please Rebekah, you and Kol hadn't like her out of your sight. Not since the witch attack." Klaus said stealing you away from Elijah only for Elijah to steal you back.

"Witch attack?"

"Angus bought up a doctor out in the bayou to check on the baby. Y/N thought it was a bad idea, Hayley thought it would be safe."

"Since then Rebekah hadn't let Hayley near her too." Kol says as Rebekah crossed her arms huffing as Elijah chuckled touching you abdomen.

"Protecting Y/N and baby is important so Rebekah did what she had to." Elijah says kissing your head as you giggle. You all settled for the night you and Rebekah slept in Elijah's bed that night with on Elijah and Rebekah cuddled into his side.

Hayley came down the next morning finding you in Elijah's lap as he reading with Klaus and Kol sitting on the couch reading also. You layed your head on Elijah's shoulder listening to his soft voice reading to you and Rebekah came in.

"Is this the first thing you do when we are all back together. Vampire book club?" Rebekah questioned as Hayley watched catch a glimpse into an everyday look in the Mikaelson home.

"Reading edifies the mind dear sister. Isn't that right Elijah?"

"Yes that's quite right Niklaus." Elijah answered waking you a bit making Elijah kiss your forehead as an apology. Hayley noticed the dead girl on the coffee table.

"And this nonsense?"

"This our brothers form of an apology." Elijah said helping you stad up from his lap as you gently rubbing your belly headed off to the kitchen.

"Nik and I thought that our big brother was hungry after his time in a coffin."

"And I informed my baby brothers that forgiveness can not be bought." Elijah said looking at Rebekah.

"Well she is staining a 200 year old carpet."

"Oh yes....that she is." Elijah muttered getting up to check on you as Kol and Klaus smirked looking at Hayley. They noticed the look in Hayley's eyes as she wasn't the first woman to fall for Elijah at first sight.

"Goodmorning, little wife." Elijah said watching you take out some yogurt which he took over getting you a bowl.

"Morning, I missed you."

"And I you. Here eat baby." Elijah says giving you the bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit. You blinked see Rebekah drag the dead body through the kitchen.

"Who do we have to kill?"

"Probably no one!" Elijah called out to her as you looked at Elijah with a raised eyebrow.

"Alright, potentially everyone." Elijah muttered as Hayley walked in seeing you sitting on a stool and Elijah behind you hands on your abdomen.

"So.... this miracle baby thing, how are you going to unlink her from Sophie?"

"I have a plan. Niklaus is doing his own plan with Kol." Elijah said kissing your head taking your dirty bowl and Kol decided to cling to you.

"What plan?"

"A plan to take the Quarter from Marcel. Then give our pregnant Queen the castle she deserves." Kol says smirking as you laughed lightly and Elijah smirked. Hayley was sure how to handle the Mikaelsons while you seemed to handle them perfectly well.

"This was another home of ours?" You asked Rebekah walking into the Abattoir with her getting a few stares from some vampires. Rebekah found it adorable how in awe you were.

"Yes before Mikael drove us away." Rebekah said watching you stand in front of the fountain rubbing your bumb.

"You think the baby will like here?"

"Yes, sweet love." Rebekah said kissing your temple when Kol joined you both standing behind your resting his chin on your shoulder.

"Elijah made sure your bedroom was in the middle of ours so you wouldn't have to go far."

"That's sweet of him." You said leaning back against Kol and both vampires moved you three to the den. You sat leaning back against Kol as Rebekah lay in front of you on the couch with you showing your favorite Disney movie.

You three fell asleep like this and how Klaus and Elijah found you three. Elijah gently covered you three with a blanket and gently rubbed your baby bump then sat in a chair and Klaus taking another. It was nice to enjoy the peace while they could while keeping an eye on you and soon to be newest Mikaelson.

My headcanon is just shoving body horror onto it ghghgh

Spamton have eye-mouths! The two eyeballs he have in his pocket (or carry around) is just collection. He have collection of all kind of eyes. He never have his own eyes so he think they're really neat!

He still can "see" just fine. Don't worry!

Pipis are egg-like larvae that will pupae into a mimic of their current caretaker. To identify the caretaker. It need long physical contract with the caretaker. If it left alone for too long, it will not pupae into anything.

Parasites is a creature both exist in lightner and darkner world. They're, well, not hostile. But they're in need of host to move around properly. And to live ( normally they can't speak and function most of the time beside trying to find a nearby host ). They're barely noticeable in normal surrounding (like the town and first dark world) but they're more visible in Cyber City. But they managed to camouflage into wire / robot-like.

There's currently two type of parasites (so far): the orb and the beak.

The orb is more docile parasite, when they choose their host at least. They rather choose dead host like corpse or inanimate object. Current known orb parasites is: Seam and Jevil

(Host for Seam is patched up taxidermy cat. The tendrils mimic wool strings and the orb *tried* to mimic button)

(Host for Jevil is a ceramic doll. The texture on the orb is similar to ceramic even on the clothes. )

The beak is similar to orb beside the fact that they look like beak. They perfer living host. They're still docile but they're extremely harmful to their host. Imagine having your will strip away and only time you can do anything on your on (via screaming) is when they decided to open their mouth little too wide. If the parasite ever leave the host, the host will fall in permanent paralysis until the parasite return. You basically become puppet.

Current known beak parasites is: Swatch, Swatchlings and Tarques Manager.

(Host for Swatch and Swatchlings are partly mutated since the feathers and bird-like features isn't in original unmutate humanoid host)

(Host for Tarques Manager is decapitated humanoid host with robot body part. The tendrils mimic a wired and horns is mimic an ear)

The Queen is aware that Swatch and Swatchlings is parasite but choose to tolerate them since their service is pretty dandy. That goes for Tarques Manager too.

Spamton, who isn't parasite, is also tolerate by The Queen though she would bad-mouth him on occasional because he's not robot and she's also one of people that got weirded out by him.

Swatch and Spamton got along okay though. But Spamton doesn't dig in any deeper terms and just stay as platonic homie who would hear Spamton talking about nonsense. Imagine someone suddenly talking about ancient aliens after one shot of whiskey. That's how Swatch feel about him.

Now changed timeline because I have a bit more clear picture. Spamton decided to turn into garbage man / pre-JHC Spamton because he caught sneaking into mansion + stealing important stuff and Queen basically order Swatchling to take him out and dip him in acid lake like Oreo. Now he's partly unhinged but nothing too bad. Just sorta isolated himself for awhile before he found Jekyll and you know the gick. Become big shot and stay in mansion. And also alienated by almost everyone. All of that happened in span of several years ( the JHC Spamton exist for few months. The reason he can't use his wings because he don't really know how to fly and barely use it).

Gordon is given name by Jekyll after he show Spamton how Jekyll got his name from so I'll pretend these two father n son play Half-Life series and Spamton liked how Gordon sound.

After the ending of Deltarune chapter 2, Spamton actually don't change like other characters since he's full fleshy 250 cm tall dude. So now Spamton either lurk in Dark World own by Ralsei or occasionally roaming the town and become cryptic figure. And he still gonna sell weird shits to those people at 3 am yeah.

Oh and he occasionally hop into realities and visit The Crew. Though he perfer to work from the world he's familiar with :)

Oh, I definitely do! Only when I have time tho, so sorry this took so long to reply to! ❤ 

Honestly, I agree! Their relationship, even in canon, is very healthy. That’s very ironic because they’re associated with two of the more ‘problematic’ big four with stalker/abusive allegations and all. Of course I mildly disagree with those, but it’s just rather interesting. 

So, I’ll head right into it! These can be interpreted as either platonic and romantic, whatever. 

Juvia and Gajeel. They were first matched together as a duo, not just because of similarities in age (we don’t know Gajeel’s, but Aria and Sol are definitely much older) but also because Juvia is quiet. it’s like a school teacher putting the troublemaker beside the quietest kid in class in hope he’ll behave, you know?

I like to think the DS all vaguely, if not instinctively, remember each other. So although Gajeel doesn’t remember Wendy, he does remember that anything little and blue and female must be protected, or the stupid pervert Vulcans will snatch them away when they’re not looking (they probably had to look out for Wendy before this, since she doesn’t know attack magic). Headcanon he also mildly associates this with Levy, but Juvia’s the first!

Gajeel latched right onto Juvia immediately because of that and decided to watched over her the moment she came in. He get spretty angry because she’s kind of airheaded and slow when it comes to self-preservation (her water/rain usually does it all defense for her, so she doesn’t know how to actively take care of herself.)

People usually consider Juvia gloomy and avoid her even in Phantom, but Gajeel doesn’t mind. He likes the taste of rust, and with Juvia around, there’s always plenty. He’s also in the gloomy category with iron and slums, so they match. 

Gajeel and Juvia take turns being ‘talks a lot’ and ‘listens’. Gajeel rambles a lot about music even though he’s awful at it, but Juvia grows to love his tone-deaf singing and eventually gets bad taste in music too. She likes things chaotic and muddled and nonsensical, because Gajeel talked about them with so much passion she couldn’t help but love it too. 

Neither Juvia nor Gajeel are ever too worried about each other when they go off alone. Juvia doesn’t think a natural disaster can possibly attempt to do any serious harm to Gajeel, and Gajeel would be more worried about what would happen to the ecosystem around Phantom Lord if Juvia loses a battle. Are the plants going to be alright if they suddenly get three times more sun? (He says this to kind of make fun of her, by playfully stating her eternal rain is vital to the flowers on the road, and Juvia would always whine about him being an insensitive jerk. Neither of them take any real offense, though.) 

Juvia has piercings and tattoos in usually hidden places. I’m thinking around the bellybutton area, or maybe even somewhere more uncharacteristical to show off an unexpected vixen side. She doesn’t show it off because she’s been raised to dress modestly, but she proudly shows the ones she can when she’s in swimsuits or home clothing. 

Juvia's clothing and boots are just slightly studded with stainless steel to give some form and weight. It’s a choice she came to while living with Gajeel, because the extra weight is useful for hand combat and balance. She’s not a nimble fighter, so she doesn’t need speed. She finds comfort in the extra weight. Gajeel also has a similar quirk in that he usually wears swim trunks under his clothing, or some of his clothes are waterproof. He’s always had to wear something that can dry easily in Phantom because of Juvia, and now it’s just a habit. 

Juvia had a makeover when joining FT in after TOH because she asked Gajeel how she’d make a good renewal impression, and his answer was to have an image change, into a more wild and unreserved version of herself. (Hence, the shorter, spikier hair, and the exposed shoulders, kind of a very loose imitation of Gajeel if you squint.) The reason Gajeel didn’t bother with following his own advice is that he didn’t give a crap. 

They would never stop each other from doing something, because they’re both very well aware that whatever the consequences, it’ll probably be fine because their dumbass of a partner won’t die from it. Let them face their own consequences, I’ll be here to say I told you so, dummy. And Gajeel and Juvia would always retaliate because they were prepared for the consequences, but they hated the smug way it was rubbed in. It will never stop. They will tease each other like this forever.

This is Maris Gielow.

Quite famous in Divinity's Reach and the territories adjacent to this city.Known in both good and bad ways.

From the very childhood the boy was haunted by bad omens and had enough rumors around his person.

At his birth, his mother passed away, which was quite rare among the nobility, considering all this magic and the availability of money.

His magical abilities manifested themselves in early childhood and from the very beginning aroused his extreme interest, so he studied it even in his spare time. But the problem is that already at that moment, his power surpassed his physical shell, and if everything was much simpler with the rest of the elements, then fire....There were big problems with the fire.

One day, wanting to practice spells, his spell exploded, causing the appearance of deep burns that can be seen on his body and face even after many years. In general, he quite often unwittingly set things on fire, which is why he was forbidden to practice fire magic.

Not that he really had the desire to continue. In the end, he accepted the fact that he was incompetent for fire magic and it only caused problems.

Growing up and continuing his education and training, having an example in the form of his parents, who were noble seraphs, he tried in every possible way to prove himself.He became kind of famous and loved.

Maris was known as a protector and savior, always ready to appear at the moment of trouble.Surprisingly, he never joined seraphs, although he received many invitations.

Despite his rejection of fire magic, even though he was convinced that it was beyond his control, he still tried to use it. It was disastrous, but still effective. Using it still caused him injuries, which caused genuine shame in Maris. An elementalist unable to control his own magic and harming himself? Something new

Eventually, his self-styled role of savior began to depress him, so at one point he went to the desert in order to "find himself" and hone his skills, but, most importantly, to get away from people.

After staying there for a couple of years, absorbing knowledge, observing and accepting nature and its magic, he still had to come back. And his return and appearance, unsurprisingly, also turned out to be a bad omen, because it coincided with the centaur attack on the city and the beginning of gw story.

But now, knowing the background of THIS character, we can plunge into many centuries ago.

During my passage of the gw plot, I had more and more ideas and headcanons, and exactly in Path Of Fire (Ironic haha) it all took on a special look.

The main focus of PoF's attention is Balthazar, and its he with whom the sub-plot of my commander is very closely connected.

We all know that the gods are able to have relatives, as Balthazar used to have a father and as he has a brother

So

Inspired by legends about Greek and Scandinavian gods, first because of the jokes, and then because I liked it, the idea of Balthazar's child came into my head.Scion of the God of War and the Spirit of Fury.

I was intrigued by the confusion and vagueness of legends about gods in other religions and thought that this was one of the details that would look good in gw lore.

In fact, this descendant of Balthazar was conceived from the very beginning as a weapon, not equal to the gods, and it successfully fulfilled this role, because in fact it really was just an accumulation of rage, wanting battles.

It is created to be part of their divine cycle, but not to enter into their circles.It is the end, it was created to destroy, reap and devour, leaving the beginning for the gods, for new cycles.

Obviously, as a result, when two hot-headed powerful beings contact each other, besides, Balthazar's unwillingness to end up like his father, conflict and trouble cannot be avoided. And so it happened, which triggered the beginning of the "Endless Battle".

Wanting to distance itself as much as possible from Balthazar and as a sign of its non -belonging to the six, scion took on the guise of a dragon, rejecting his "human" form.

Balthazar's desire to fight with the Elder Dragons caused a conflict not only with the gods, but also a new series of battles with his child, wanting to subdue it again in order to use it in the fight against the elder dragons, because...Well, in fact, it seems to be specially created for this, for destruction, battles and devouring magic.

Obviously, it was not at all in accordance with his father's plans and they entered the battle again. Their battle was long and was in several realities and continued in the mortal world, causing huge destruction that can still be seen on "body" of Tyria til our time.

The gods stepped in and imprisoned them both. It was buried deep deep underground, at the bottom of a lava lake in eternal sleep. These days, some do not even remember the existence of this creature, some confuse its achievements with the achievements of Balthazar, and someone believes that it and Balthazar are one, but legends say that as soon as it awakens from its eternal sleep, the fire will engulf Tyria and the beginning of the end will come true.

For a while it was in complete hibernation, but after a while it learned to create something like "avatars".A human shell, without memories and with only the smallest part of the power from the being, and hope that one of his "avatars" will restore his memories and free it from imprisonment.It remained only to wait.

A huge number of lives passed quietly, returning memories after death. Someone lived a completely unremarkable life, someone was famous in battles, but everything changed when a noble boy appeared in Tyria, who later became a commander, a dragon slayer.

Have you ever wondered how amazing it is that a commander manages to fight for so many years without stopping, even when they almost run out of their strength protecting others?In the case of Maris, his increased resistance is due to his godlike nature. He is not so much different from an ordinary mortal, the difference is only a little more tolerance and unusual magic. Before the battle with Zhaitan, there were even fewer of these differences, but when Zhaitan fell, Maris unknowingly absorbed a very small part of his magic, which started the process of restoring his memory and increasing his power.

As time went on, the problems increased, as did the number of defeated enemies, as well as the strength and difficulty of controlling himself, as well as the call. In the end, his last battle was the battle with Karlkatorrik. He had fulfilled his personal mission in accompanying and protecting Aurine, now there was nothing holding him back and he could no longer stay.

With the departure of the gods, he could ascend more calmly.He did so, considering that at some point his secret was revealed and he had to leave as soon as possible before anyone else had time to process all this information.

Maris first learned a hint of the truth about his origin from Kormir, and later became convinced of it himself during the battle with Balthazar.

He had no choice but to accept the role of god, tho he never did anything to awaken the being from the endless sleep, he draws his divine power from it, but does not accept and does not release his true essence.

It's funny how a creature created to destroy worlds, albeit unknowingly, saved the world....Although did it?
