i cant ever post any of my framed pieces on here since customer privacy yknow. but since this is the BACK of a framed piece i can post it.

so this customer came in looking for a new frame + new acrylic on this giant massive piece so basically reworking it to upgrade and repair it. and so they only ever showed me how it looks like, face up. so once they paid for it all and i brought it to the back, this greeted me. just. oh my god.

this is the worst wire i have ever seen. it is so loose and terrible looking and it is so fucking thin for how big and heavy this piece is and worst of all, its not knotted/tied around anything???? the wire is just tucked into the nails that were screwed into the wood???? and i guess my surprise is, is that the wire hasnt snapped or popped out after supporting the weight of this giant massive fucking thing, despite being the shittiest wire i have ever seen???? im simultaneously repulsed and begrudgingly impressed
