#arcane spoilers#and after s2 Caitlyn really only lived to avoid a BYG#SORRYNOTSORRY but viktor and jayce are a messy bromance at best in the textual context of the show#word of god from random crew does not and will never count nevermind it’s antiblack anyway so#should these three characters have been handled better in s2? uh yeah. obviously#but point still stands that they’re the Tragedy Rulea Survivors because they literally did not start this fire#they were either swept up in it and/or the only ones trying to put it out#oh yeah. and sevika. sevika was one of the few actually trying to make things function vs accidentally (viktor and jayce)#or purposely (jinx then s2 caitlyn) making things Worse#…honestly. if Mel Ekko and Sevika actually met… s2 would’ve gone very very differently#but also like. the Entire Series’ Tragedy is Heimerdinger’s Fault Actually#and he got off soooo easy by getting ripped apart by Time Arcane Alchemy in another reality#he never had to fix or atone for what he did#instead it was his dreaming students who did#and Zaun was Still!!! ultimately screwed over and further scapegoated
