Person on the internet who knows about the split attraction model and is about to make it everyone else's problem: Ohhhhhh okay so that means when I ship them with other characters they only mean it romantically :) thanks!

#this is kinda vent-y #but i am so so tired of finding out a character is asexual after seeing so much ship stuff about them #or hearing a character is ace and seeing ppl immediately go ok great :) time to keep shipping them with everyone :)#like yeah ok sure whatever none of my business #but also im aroace. ive been out and about. and most ppl ive met only know ace. not aro not demisexual/romantic not gray-ace #hell even at pride in my city i only found like. 2 aro pride things at the entire event. there were 2 long blocks worth of booths.#and it grates on me when i see ace characters be shipped without even an acknowledgement of their aceness #or like. get put into a 'happy pride' post under a ship theyre in without even a nod to that their aceness is canon and the ship is not #hi hello im aroace living in a world so soaked in romance like a sponge and it feels like sliding along sandpaper sometimes :)#vent
