Does anyone else think it would be weird if the Fallout universe just NEVER changed and was forever stuck in the extremes of the 50s era? I personally don't actually give a fuck about canon in this regard because from my understanding there isn't much that is actually technically canon and most of the info is stuff that comes from outside sources (aka not the games) so I personally don't give a shit about it.

Whatever canon says in this regard I could care less but from a realistic standpoint I don't think it makes sense for any universe really to just be stuck in a specific era for THAT long of a time that never seems to learn or change, not necessarily grow or improve even but at least change to some degree.

These thoughts are mainly based on a post being shared that I skimmed over that I don't personally agree with but I get why people feel the way they do about FO4 & the TV show. I personally also don't get why people want things to adhere so much to the "canon" info we know because there are still plenty PLENTY of issues with the original Fallout games and FNV that we could honestly just improve upon and/or do without. Not to mention I do think one thing can have its own "canon" and something else can have its own regardless of if they contradict each other or not. Things can be separate... that's it, that's the thought.

I... had something else I was going to add or share here but I honestly forgot so yeah I guess I'm done, lol. Might come back to this to edit it in if I remember though!

Oh p.s. I haven't finished the show so my very very brief opinions here are only influenced by episodes 1-6. And this literally is just about these few points, I'm still not doing any specific criticism of the show since I haven't finished it, but I probably won't after I finish it and just say the basics because I'm not or plan to advocate for the show or anything, I wasn't really expecting much writing wise and while I find entertaining I wasn't expecting anything deep or good to come from the show politics wise because well... *waves as the games.*
