The graduate workers at my university are unionizing - which is awesome - I just don’t know how I can support them when I have a hard time physically attending the most important events.
#ra speaks#personal#student union#unions#I will propagandize to my lab group I will sign whatever you put in front of me but the admin office has a lot of stairs and uh. that sucks#like I don’t want to seem flaky I am 100% on board w unions and unionization I’m from a union family#but also going places. hard. physically alone but combined w the stress of a protest/etc. isn’t super easy either.#so like. how can I help within my limitations?#I think living in the grad student dorm may be a good point to bring up#bc most grad students don’t and those that do are largely international#and while it’s decent living…there’s no AC when it’s 90 degrees a 88% humidity#and other QOL things I personally find frustrating living here#words are so hard lately how do I keep forgetting words /writing the wrong word
