Kinda want an au where Dick goes to med school and becomes a doctor purely out of spite for Bruce. Like as soon as he gets the diploma, anything Bruce tells him he can go "at least I didn't drop out of med school" and get instant approval from Alfred.

Not sure if I want Bruce to create a full ride scholarship exclusively for his kid and run it through a bunch of layers to hide it's coming from him or Dick working odd jobs to pay for it himself because he's not taking Bruce's money. Either way, i want him to get to the highest level of education for Doctor (like make it official or whatever), stay in the position for a few months then purposefully switch careers to something completely different. Just to annoy Bruce (it would definitely work).

#don't know if he'd go through with it all just out of spite because that's like at least a decade (?) of his life committing to the bit #but also everyone in the batfam lives on spite to some degree so maybe #i don't really picture Dick enjoying having to sit still and study for such a long time but he was also a mathlete(?) so maybe he'd enjoy it #bruce wayne #batman #dick grayson #tired dad bruce wayne
