Not that Yhwach ever particularly did it for me, villain-wise, but I made the mistake of watching the Rakuzan vs Shutoku arc of Kuroko no Basket at the same time as Cour 3 started up, and I cannot possibly take him seriously, he has the exact same shtick as an evil fourteen year old who uses it to humiliate the closest thing he has for friends at basketball.

Except that it's actually kinda cool when Akashi does it???

Unfortunately, now I can't watch TYBW without this echoing through my otherwise empty skull:

#bleach tybw #knb #kuroko no basket #man say what you want about knb but it builds and executes drama in a textbook-perfect way #and its ost slaps in a way that bleach's used to and no longer does #i am still never going to be a fan of 'i forsaw and evaded it' type powers bc they are fundamentally boring #but akashi is really eating yhwach's lunch on this one #also he's way better at assembling a team of powerful and charismatic weirdos to support him in his quest for domination (of the court)
