hmmmm ok ive finished replaying awakening.

see...............my warden would definitely not kill the architect, but he'd also be smarter about it than you can be in-game. like, he wouldnt just let him go either. he'd insist that if they worked together it would be on the wardens' terms rather than the architect's, and maybe get utha to come with them when they fight the mother just to make sure the architect sticks around (assuming the mother cant also keep her away, idk). i cant account for every possibility just thinking about it on the spot, but he'd come up with something that's better than "yeah just go and keep doing what you're doing".

#personal #da #dao #like obviously with everything *i* know it'd be safer to just kill the architect #but a) alim doesnt know everything i know; and b) he doesnt have all the same morals and goals as i do #*alim = my warden (alim surana; default male elf mage name bc i hate coming up with names lmao im fine with the defaults)#and i know it wasnt quite 'just keep doing what you're doing' but yknow #he'd make sure the architect sticks around after fighting the mother #SOMEHOW #it's a little frustrating that they cant really explore what happens because you CAN kill him so he's potentially dead now #i mean maybe something happens in a later book. ive only read the first two so far #i know fiona shows up later so im sure the architect gets at least a mention...... but idk how deep that'll go #i also have a lot of thoughts about the architect's plans in the book and the game re: all the blood-related transformations #but i'll go into that later when ive thought about it a bit m #*more
