update: i’ve only barely started cosmic turnabout, so i have no opinion on it yet, but i gotta say: turnabout academy is a Really Fucking Good case, and the fandom joke that every 3rd case in aa is bad is Fucking Stupid

like with what i’ve played through with the game as a whole, it has some pacing issues, but i can forgive 5-3 for that because the climax and ending are just that perfect to me. i want to give athena a hug 🥺

also, like mia, i figured clay was going to die at some point or another, but i didn’t expect his death to be how we’re properly introduced to him in case 4 lmfao

the 'every 3rd case sucks' joke is fun cause it's pretty accurate for the og trilogy in my opinion (samurai is fine but like whatever), but i'm not sure how well it holds up with the later games, considering aa4-3, aa5-3, and tgaa1-3 are pretty good, and aai2-3 and tgaa2-3 are, like, all-timer greats (aai1-3 sucks ass, that one's true).

but yeah, turnabout academy is so fun! it's been so long since i played it, but i always enjoyed it. the setting is super fun, and ofc i loveeeee the three friends so much, themis trio my beloveds ♡ (even if i think the whole reveal with robin is so...odd.). and means is such a fun villain, his animations and breakdown are so top tier.
