i just wanna say; in the Unwanted Guest AU Stanarrator isn’t canon AT THE BEGINNING—

Stan and Nar go through a bunch of character development throughout the AU, and they don’t like each other at all

Stan thinks Nar is a power hungry psychopath who loves watching him be in pain

Nar thinks he’s just doing his job and that Stan doesn’t really matter

BOTH OF THEIR OPINIONS WILL CHANGE IN THE FUTURE, GOOD AND BAD.

Stan started off liking Nar but quickly grew to loathe him due to being stuck in a loop for a long time.

Nar started off thinking of Stanley as nothing but a boring protagonist he’d have to waste his time on to make the Crows happy, but after seeing how fascinating Stanley is he grew attatched (PLATONICALLY for now)

Any Stanarrator art I draw is purely silly and fun because fuck it, I wanna draw my men being happy even though they aren’t close to being happy.

If they got into a relationship right NOW, like right in the beginning of the AU it would be toxic and bad. So I draw them being cute outside of the AU. The doodles I draw are with some of their lore and not a lot of character development, but what they would act like together as a happy cute couple.

characterization of gojo satoru.

gojo in this fic is characterized so fucking well, from chapter one. there are so many distinctive ways miss lostfractures goes about building his aura (word of mouth/reputation, dialogue, expository, primary interactions, secondary interactions, etc.) it reminds me of the show where gojo just has this energy to him that you can't tear yourself away from i picture him in this fic to be unrelenting, unforgiving, morally grey, with an undertone of softness yet still feral through it all,, basically gojo during shibuya arc LOL. i looove reading cute silly boy gojo fics sm (he’s so baby) but THIS fic explores the borderline wicked side of him that is so thrilling, unique, and rare to find i think in this fandom’s collection of works. it’s just so fucking good.

forbidden romance.

UGGHH i love stories w forbidden romance. in this one, it’s med student reader x professor gojo (additional power dynamics in that he’s a senior surgeon in her field and also a research mentor in her study of interest…TRIPLE THREAT DAMN). i love how miss lostfractures doesn’t shy away from reminding the reader that it’s wrong, and that they shouldn’t be doing this. that’s my fave part of forbidden romances like yesss remind me again why this is all so wrong but let’s still do it anyways LOL <333

reader’s voice.

i’ve LOVED reader since the beginning, so relatable, emotionally mature, all her flaws are so believable & her strengths are shown seamlessly. it’s just so much fun to read because i’ll literally have a thought like “hmm…that (something a character said/did) doesn’t sound very convincing” and then the next line will be something like “he didn’t sound very convincing” like!!! me and s&c reader?? we’re locked in like this fr🤞🏼 like gojo’s domain expansion fingers

escapism.

everything in this story feels so damn real it’s insane. the pacing is stunning, love the utilization of stacks of scenes that are sort of short but so concise, enough to be a smooth read but still descriptive enough to entirely transport you into the world that’s being built. cannot praise the writing in this story enough. also the variety of ways that scenarios are made that pull characters closer to one another?? so creative. as someone who works in a research lab, studied bio in college (some of the fkn biochem stuff that comes up in this fic gives me heart attacks lmfaooo pls im traumatized), and has worked in clinics/hospitals it just itches my brain so damn good. you’ll be convinced you’re a brilliant med student while you read this fic.

the writing is just. so. good. it’s so good. better than most PUBLISHED works i’ve read. i really can't say much other than that, you just have to go see for yourself.

thinking even More about ranch hand arasha and city boy turned country bumpkin courtney and i think the town they move to is like sdv esque and i think amangela are also there and married (because of who i am as a person) and angela also moved over from the big city so her and courtney become rly close friends and amanda is the most yeehaw woman of all time. also arasha is THEE southern belle of the town always fluttering her eyelashes like we get it you have big beautiful brown eyes 🙄 and i think shayne is running the town library and chanse is running the saloon and they all go down there for a hootenanny. the saloon serves exclusively spuds and alcohol btw. maybe hot dogs too. a hot dog spud even. this isn't even about courtrasha anymore this is just me world building

Anyway. This world is GREAT i love this so much. of course the courtrasha cowboy AU also has amangela and shaynse in it!! Courtgela friendship YESSS with Amanda as the Most Yeehaw Woman paired with Angela as originally a more city gal. God I can envision a double date with Courtrasha Amangela SO vividly.

Arasha, more broadly, as her very specific, lethal blend of charm and charisma and competence YES.... tbh I'd love for it to be thrown off, to an extent, by Courtney. Like. Arasha is always charm and flattery but Courtney comes along and there are elents of it that don't work as smoothly.

Or Courtney is- not immune to her charm, but the things they really find enchanting are not the same things Arasha typically knows how to play up in a town like this. Courtney finds Arasha dazzling, and maybe everyone does, but. Slowly but surely. Arasha is really, truly, dazzled right back by Courtney....

Anyway. Spud hut saloon YEAH!!!!! Chanse is so cool and so suave but sometimes when he talks about the saloon and the spud aspect of it especially it seems like he gets possessed a little bit. He and Arasha have ongoing fake beef (they love each other but refuse to admit it) that somehow ties into Arasha always gunning for that hot dog spud and never getting it. Chanse Shayne built up bc Chanse is so damn cool Shayne would never have the nerve to approach/go to the bar regularly. But when Chanse comes to the library he's always checking out such inreresting and unexpected things and they have such good discussions. Shayne and Amanda are unlikely BFFs. Idk how that looks in this world but I need it.

Comments - YESSS, BEEN 20 MINUTES AND HERE YOU ARE 😭😭 so, this is mostly world building, BUT, laios stuff too dw. You are a mind reader lmao, I was JUST thinking about a modern au sometime today! This ended up being about the main 4 on accident, but I tried to make it mostly about Laios 😭

Modern!Laios

So, the golden kingdom is sort of how the modern world would be like, everyone is in harmony, no deaths (except old age depending on species race??), everyone has phones, internet, no more dungeons

So modern, but with a touch of fantasy, kinda like Onwards! (Such a good movie go watch it rn)

And jobs are more modern now, like Laios is a sous chef in a well known underground restaurant that's owned by a dwarf named Senshi! Chilchuck is a lockpick, then Marcille is a teacher! Falin is doing some out of state studying, wanting to keep the art of magic alive, Shuro is a fencing teacher, and Nimari does construction!

But let's focus on the main 4 😋

Laios and Chilchuck met when Laios locked himself out of his shared house with Falin several times cause he left it at work, in his car (had to pick that too cause the doors locked on him) and so that developed a small friendship (not that Chilchuck would call it that) between the two

Marcille knew Falin while they were studying magic together (like in the anime but modern) and so Marcille met Laios through her

Before Falin went away to study abroad Marcille and Laios held a going away party for her and Laios invited Chilchuck, where he may Marcille and Falin (Nimari and Shuro were there too but I'll say how they met everyone in another modern post if someone wants 🫶)

Now back to the restaurant- Laios and Senshi works at (Senshi owns it btw) Laios had always been a good cook while growing up, also taking any and all cooking classes he could while in high school

And he was amazing at it!

So good that THE Senshi, owner of the famous underground restaurant that turned monsters into FOOD, groundbreaking isn't it?? Sent him an invitation to come WORK DIRECTLY UNDER HIM

Laios had always wanted to cook monsters, and after visiting the restaurant once or twice growing up?? HELL YEAH HE WANTED TO WORK FOR SENSHI

This all happened in the span of about 7 years I suppose?

Now, summer time ⛱️

Laios definitely invites everyone to go to the beach, even his sister when she comes to visit from her studies!

And while Senshi is hesitant in leaving his restaurant (he kinda.. lives there too.) to see the beach he caves and says yes, but refuses to wear swim trunks. He looks like a barbeque dad lmao, full on Hawaiian shirt and some tan shorts, and some sandals as he's making some summer themed monster food for everyone

Marcille is the one trying to get him to wear trunks, gives up, but wears a super cute 1 piece to make herself feel better

Chilchuck is kinda in the same boat as Senshi, but wears trunks and the Hawaiian shirt, but sheds it later to go play chicken with the twins and Marcille out in the ocean while they wait for the yummy food

Marcille and Falin are going against Laios and Chilchuck!

Who won?

Chilchuck very quickly got pushed into the water, damn near drowned cause he wasn't prepared to swim after being knocked off of Laios' shoulders by Marcille (who he was talking trash to)

But after he stopped dying and held less of a grudge with Marcille after she dried him off, Senshi finally finished the food!

It was some grilled kraken skewers with some veggies, each customized specifically to everyone :D

They all spend the rest of their time at the beach telling stories, enjoying the skewers, and having general fun lol

so avatar au huh

Gonna ramble my thoughts

I set my au after Korra, which would be extremely weird and hard to work with i feel like, because of how rapidly the world is developing and Korra already faced restrictions from the law and people in power. So i think there would be more and more laws the avatar couldn't break, and they would grow into more of a symbol of peace and political figure than actually out there fighting.

So in the element order, after Korra an earthbender would become the avatar, so that would be Dream yay ^_^ i think he'd be born in a semi-developed seaside Earth Kingdom/Federation city. He'd have to learn the elements in order, so Earth, Fire, Air and Water.

I haven't come up with ideas for all the countries and how they changed smh its so haaard. the ideas i got are mostly from other people but oh well..

So credit to my wife, she said what if Bad would be the next Fire Lord but he'd decide to create a republic or something? Anyways f that for now, his adopted son would be Sapnap - but i have the idea for Bad to be an airbender and around the same age as the dteam, and have Sapnap just be a Republic City citizen. Dunno yet.

Sapnap wouldn'tve been raised very much like a prince, he grew up among the ✨people✨ and his goal is to be a pro-bender. He's a fire bender ofc do i even need to say. He would learn to bend lava also as he gets better.

Dream's family would discover he's the avatar pretty early, and they'd present him to the White Lotus. They'd be offered a house in Republic City, and Dream would spend his younger years there learning the elements.

While he's still living in his birthtown, he'd stumble into baby Patches on the street and he'd immediately take her home without question. Little did he know she's an armadillo-tiger(or lion?idk) and would grow up to be a big ass cat XD she'd be his animal guide hehe, she's also mountable cause she huge

He'd meet Sapnap in firebending training around the age of 10, and they'd become best friends for life <33 later they'd both take part in pro-bender training cause hell yeah

Didn't come up with a story for airbending training yet aeheueh later about that

Anyway he'd have the hardest time learning waterbending, reason for that would be that he'd be more and more stressed by everyone hyping him up as the avatar and he'd feel like he's not ready to fulfill his role as avatar for a very long time and u know just being a teenager in general, he'd be stubborn af.

This is where George comes in yesss

He'd be a waterbender of the Northern Water Tribe, which at this point in time i imagine would be a constitutional monarchy or sth similar. I'm not good at this. Anyway George would be the son of the chief, so basically a prince aehaeh (He'd also have a sister) But he'd be very uninterested in political matters, would rather mess around and would be free-spirited, and have no desire to become chief, especially cause he has an older sister so he'd think meh why care, she will become chief. His father would be strict and force him to study law and manners and all that a prince has to and he'd hate it. He'd skip his waterbending classes and would only use his bending for fun.

Then Dream would arrive for training. Of course George would have the best trainer in the Tribe, and so would Dream. George's father would tell him no skipping classes, you're training with the avatar and building a good reputation with him.

Dream would be in his angsty arc and so would George, so at first they'd butt heads in training and tease eachother which would result in fierce fights, as much as both of them could bend water XD But in some turn of events they'd realise the other isn't that bad and they'd see the similarities in eachother and they'd become good friends aw yeah

George would be mesmerized by Dream's stories and the places he traveled so far, and wouldn't be able to shake the idea of leaving with him. He'd tell this to Dream, who would be very happy and he'd help convince George's father to let him go with him to Republic City.

George would train to be a pro-bender also and thus dteam is born owo love that sh

Like i said the world would be pretty developed by then, and media would have bigger and bigger impact on people. Dream would be very very restricted in how he can intervene in conflict, and it would frustrate him more and more. He'd be known by his real name as avatar btw, so Avatar Clay. He'd get enough and would go undercover without the knowledge of anyone, sick of corruption, sick of sitting around and not being able to help people. He'd put on the mask, and call himself Dream. He would fight crime and help people however he can, and quickly he'd become very successful and well known amongst the RC citizens. People would start to simpathize more with this new mysterious hero than with the avatar, and this way Dream would be living two lives and he'd feel so alone and split... But George and Sapnap would find out about his secret shenanigans, and they'd join him :3 that's all i came up with so far, if you read this far i am thankful and PLEASE share ideas if you have any!!!!

Oooooh fun yesss! So I used to be really into Hearthstone (WoW TCG) but had to stop playing for my morality. Though now that they've been bought I might return. I also have seen the WoW movie which despite all it's issues was pretty alright visually for me.

I also used to play DnD with friends when I was in uni, so I draw inspo from those days as well. (My character was a dwarf ranger lol)

Horizon Zero Dawn was perfection. I think about Red Dead at least once a week and doing some gorgeous Western AU with that vibe.

more details on Wreck-it Ralph 2 at Mark Henn’s workshop for 2d animation

Today on July 28, 2018, I along with 19 other people and sponsors were granted the opportunity to attend a Drawing and 2d animation workshop by Mark Henn, the animation supervisor of the upcoming film Wreck-it Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet, through a mall-sponsored promo Wreck-it Ralph art contest as winners. It was in this workshop that Mr. Mark Henn gave everyone who attended a basic rundown of the film’s premise as well as a peek into the full version of the scene where Vanellope meets the rest of the legendary Disney princesses. I know news of this clip have already been circulating online but I haven’t seen more detailed accounts of what happened.

I’m writing this from what I can remember, as camera recording and photography were strictly not allowed. We were made to surrender our phones before entering the venue. Hence, a lot of the things here may be inaccurate.

Warning that this contains spoilers for Wreck-it Ralph 2. If you still wish to find out, proceed under the cut.

PREMISE

- Movie picks up from where the first one left off: Ralph smashes his buildings while Vanellope likes to race for fun at night when the arcade is closed

- One day Mr. Litwack introduces a new plug-in to the arcade: wifi. Ralph reads this as “wih-fee”. All game characters are told they aren’t allowed to enter this new domain and so everyone proceeds with their day as normal

- Normal life continues until one of the kids playing at the arcade accidentally breaks the steering wheel for Sugar Rush. Mr. Litwack assesses the situation after being informed about it. He feels that since Sugar Rush has been around for such a long time that the steering wheel was able to break off, then maybe it was time to put the game to rest. The kids protest at this, since there are many of them who love Sugar Rush and don’t want to see the game go. Because of this, they look up a replacement steering wheel on ebay using their smartphones and show it to Litwack in the hopes that maybe he can replace the wheel and get the game to continue. Unfortunately, the last remaining steering wheel on ebay is 200 USD-- more than what the game makes in the arcade every year. Mr. Litwack has no other choice but to let the game just die and everyone goes home disappointed. All the game characters in Sugar Rush fall into despair because they will now be left without a home.

-Naturally, Vanellope tells Ralph about this and Ralph doesn’t like it either because it was making his friend so sad. It is because of this that they eventually enter the “wifi” doorway in game central and thus enter the internet. There, they meet a character named “Yesss” who is representative of an entertainment website that makes videos go viral called “BuzzTube”. She offers them the solution to make enough money to buy the steering wheel through viral videos featuring Ralph. She sees potential in him because he has something unique that she feels people will enjoy.

- As they’re exploring the rest of the internet, they stumble into Oh My Disney! sites that were shown in the trailers. Vanellope bumps into a group of stormtroopers who go like “Hey! What are you doing here!?” and she uses her glitching ability to run away. Doing this, she accidentally glitches herself into a secret room that is usually off-limits: The room containing the Disney princesses.

SNEAK PEEK START

- everything in this scene is as you saw in the teasers and trailers, except this time with the addition of a few more questions

Princesses: “Have you ever had a true love’s kiss/prince you fell in love with?”

Vanellope: “Barf!”

Princesses: “Did you ever get locked up/kidnapped by your stepmom/mom?” (probably not the exact question but it had something to do with mothers)

Vanellope: “I don’t even have a mom!”

Princesses: “Neither do we!”

- There were more questions but I could only recall those two

- After confirming that she is indeed a Disney princess, Tiana(?) checks out Vanellope’s outfit.

Tiana: “I love your gown! Where did you get it?”

Vanellope: “Oh this thing?”

Aurora: “Oh, how I would love to have one of my own!”

Cinderella: “I’ll get my mice on it!”

The scene then cuts to a few moments later, and it shows all the Disney princesses up until Moana wearing modern-day casual clothing! If you’ve ever seen fan art/fan fiction of Disney princess modern/college AU’s, Wreck-it Ralph 2 basically brought this to life. I can’t remember everyone’s outfits, but here are the ones I do remember:

Tiana: Has her hair down. Is wearing a pale pink tank top and shorts

Mulan: Wearing a silk designer bomber jacket with a chinese dragon embroidered on it and slim, black pants

Elsa: Wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt with the words “Just let it go” printed on its front and skinny jeans

Anna: Wearing a flannel button up shirt left open with a white undershirt underneath, skinny jeans, and sneakers

Merida: Similar to Anna’s-- flannel and sneakers. I can’t remember if she was wearing shorts or pants.

Ariel: A loose hanging crop top with a flounder printed on its front and shorts.

Moana: a white sleeveless top with shorts and flip flops/sandals(?). She retains the flower in her hair

The outfits of the princesses not mentioned are hazy in my memory but all I know is that their clothing reflected their personalities. I also remember one of the princesses wore a knit cap but I forgot if it was Anna or Merida. It was someone wearing flannel.

- After the outfit change, the princesses are all lounging around, talking about how they love their new clothes. Ariel gushes about how she’s always wanted to wear a... what was it called? A “shirt”. She then proceeds to burst into song to the tune of “A Part of Your World” with the lyrics modified to fit the situation. All the other princesses tell her to hush before she gets carried away again. The way they acted gave me the impression that this was something that happens regularly XD

- Vanellope remarks that she thought princesses had to be perfect, but it turns out they have their own problems too. Everyone then starts talking about their problems.

- Snow White reveals that she is actually near-sighted and “can’t see a thing without her glasses”. She says this is why she usually reacts like “Oh!” or “Ah!” at things. She accompanies this with a wacky demonstration of her shocked facial expressions.

- Jasmine reveals that although she has a pet tiger, she’s actually allergic to cats. She sniffles to prove this point.

- Merida also says something but her speech is so rapid and heavily laced with her thick Scottish accent that no one understood what she just said. Vanellope goes, “Ooookay..?” at this and looks to the others. One of the princesses explains, “She’s from the ‘other’ studio.”

-Moana is sweet and thanks Vanellope for coming to meet them as well as introducing to them new clothes. Vanellope responds likewise.

- Vanellope walks over to Pocahontas who is holding Meeko, remarking about how she can’t possibly leave something as cute as the raccoon. When she tries to pet Meeko, he snarls and tries to bite her. Vanellope glitches back a few steps out of fright. Pocahontas then tells her, “He bites.”

- A knock is then heard at the door. A robot enters, telling the princesses they have 5 minutes before they’re up on stage.

SNEAK PEEK END

I most likely missed a lot more details and got a lot of things wrong, but I just wanted to get this down before my memory fades. The entire audience was so shook at this clip and my mind was whirling so much I wasn’t able to process some more of the things that were shown. Hearing about it was one thing but seeing it was another. The scene just made me so glad they made all the fan headcanons a reality and it makes me all the more excited for the movie’s release in November.
