My first ever Official Tour Post!! . Okay so this is the first time I'm doing something like this and I'm not really sure how to start, so I guess I'll just start by saying wow my tour date is literally next week, good on me for procrastinating the heck out of this!! (Sarcasm, sorry guys if you don't know me I'm a sarcastic lil girl) Anyways! Taylor, if somehow you find this post, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you. Hi, my name is Alex, and you have been one of the best things in my life since I was 7 years old, when I first heard Tim McGraw on country radio while riding in the backseat of my mother's old minivan named Bertha. I was on my way to summer camp, and that song was stuck in my head all day. And I was okay with it, 'cause while I've never been big on country music, even then I knew something about you and your song was special and different. Little did I know then how much you'd impact my life. I consider that my first introduction to you, but I remember the moment I realized I'm a full on Swiftie. It was late spring, about 4 years later. The time in between, I'd heard your music on the radio and my dad and I would always turn it up and jam. We were fans, I just didn't even realize then how much of a fan I was. And then when I was 11, I was standing in line for the Bizzaro ride at Six Flags; the TV in the line was showing musical performances to keep us waiters entertained. I remember it showed your performance of Should've Said No from the CMAs, and I was just mesmerized. Watching your performance that day completely changed me. I went home and asked my parents to buy me your debut and Fearless albums that were already out. I'd already seen your music videos as they were uploaded on YouTube, but I went back and rewatched them with a different mindset: this time I knew something was different but in the best way possible. Since then I've always been a loud and proud Swiftie. I'm 19 now, and you've been there for me in the best of times and the worst of times. When my anxiety has gotten so bad and I thought I was alone, I'd remember you were there for me. And you always always always made me feel better; not alone. And you were there for me to give me a soundtrack to the good times as well. You were always someone that never ceased to make me happy. Your music even brought my family a little closer. My whole house loves your music. On Thursday, July 26th, at Gillette Stadium Night 1, I will be seeing you live for the 3rd time in my life. It'll be exactly 5 years to the day since the first time I ever saw you live! In 2013, my dad and I went to the Red Tour at Gillette (which was a complete surprise when I got the tickets at Christmas and I cried like a little baby because I didn't think we'd be able to afford to go at all), and this time I'm going with my sister, Vanessa, who is my best friend, who went with me to your 1989 tour 3 years ago. We'll even be sitting close to where I sat at the Red Tour! “(Y/N)?” Dorian knocked on the door and found you standing in front of the window of his bedroom only one of his his silk shirts draped over your naked body. “Are you alright, dear?”

Your hand was placed on your chest when you turned around and your other arm draped around your middle, like you had been thinking about something that troubled you.

He approached you and put his hand on your cheek, staring deeply into your eyes.

“Tell me what’s wrong.”

“Why am I here, Dorian?”

That question seemed to confuse him a bit.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean.. why me? Why not Vanessa or Lily? Why am I here? Why are you with me?”

Oh, he had so many reasons.

Vanessa was a troubled soul. Interesting, for sure. An enigma, at first, but later, someone he’d rather not spend more time with. He might be immortal, but that didn’t mean that he fancied himself a life of being followed by whatever evil followed Vanessa at the moment.

And Lily.. he thought Lily was like him. But then he realized that she had always had her own agenda and he was only a pawn in her game. He was sure that she’d come back to him eventually.. because he was the only one who’d live through everything, just like she would.

But the main reason, was that neither of them was as interesting as you were.

You were something else entirely.

He had thought Vanessa was a mystery, but then he met you and realized that he hadn’t even known what that word meant until you showed up.

You were something he hadn’t encountered before.

With powers that could destroy the world in a blink of an eye.

And yet, you carried yourself with poise. If you wanted to, you could rule this world and he would gladly be by your side when you did. But would that ever be the case? He did not know yet.

And there was this one reason.. a reason he never thought he’d have for staying with someone.

“Because you matter to me and they never did. Not like that anyways.”

“But Lily, she.. was like you.. wasn’t she?”

He softly pulled on your hand and dragged you towards the bed to sit down, then he took your other hand as well and sighed.

“I thought she was. She’s immortal, just like me, but.. she and I view the world differently. Her goals aren’t my goals.”

You nodded and processed his words, then you looked down to your hands and softly caressed the back of his hand with your thumb.
