Aziraphale considered the question. In the closet implied something completely different from his situation with Crowley. Gender was a human construct, and sexuality alongside that. His love for Crowley transcended those boundaries and would have been the same regardless of their assigned corporeal forms—had indeed been the same during the times in history where one or both of them had changed presentation per head office for one reason or another. Crowley loved the fluidity of it, never caring if his presentation matched his body, while Aziraphale—as in all things—tended to be the same in every time period, outfit, and presentation. The modern concept of closet had nothing to do with Heaven or Hell.

On the other hand, did it not require a different kind of closet when an angel fell in love with a demon? They were meant to be enemies, not lovers. Their sides would have done anything to keep them apart, had done all they could to separate them.

Throwing this out there in case people are working on learning how to draw Raph and need some help. His design/proportions are way different from the other brothers and most of the time I see people instinctually going for normal human proportions with him.

((And you are more than welcome to continue drawing him that way if you wish to do so; this isn't a callout post or anything! /gen))

But for those who want to adhere closer to his cannon design, ya gotta specifically break some of those art school anatomy rules you learned.

HEY guess who's being completely normal about episode 7 :)

anyway it sure ain't me, so I made myself a baby Malleus! I used the single-headed version of Choly Knight's hydra pattern (link will be in replies ↓↓↓) as a base, and just messed with some of the pieces to make him more Mall-y. including sewing all those little claw pieces, then pinning them on and realizing I actually liked him better without them...oh well. to heck with accuracy, I want stubby little dragon legs!

unfortunately, he doesn't photograph very well, especially his forehead scales (they're there! I promise!) (they're made of glitter HTV so they are actually SPARKLY in real life, yet apparently they come out completely invisible in photos, woe). but he is super cuddly and soft so I'm happy with him! just as in canon, he is a product of LOVE. :>
