#but I just see a lot of bitterness toward i*zoi contrarians

I find the "everyone who was critical of I*zoi, keep the same energy with TS4" kinda hm, puts a bad taste in my mouth. In addition to a plethora of other discouraging news about the TS4, a game many of us have invested years, thousands of hours, and hundreds if not well over a thousand dollars (not including things like Patreon, PS, and other investments into our sims/our Simblrs which could add up to thousands) is potentially introducing features we don't want to support. Compared to a new game we've never played and trying to decide whether or not to purchase and endorse it. This doesn't mean that all of a sudden critics of generative AI or the ethics of some of this new tech are switching sides in an "I told ya so" moment, but there is a deep frustration in being a voice surrounded by screams of corporate greed and feeling helpless in an effort in making what you think is a positive change and standing for something. It's hard when corporations are indulging in your time and your money, they don't feel that loss, we do. There is nothing wrong with trying to stand for something you think is right, and it's not funny when you're struggling to do so.
#Non Sims#Also I do think you can interupt#the keep the same energy comment#as in like make sure to apply the pressure#and hope it'll make an impact#but I just see a lot of bitterness toward i*zoi contrarians#for a lot of people today was a bad news day for simmers#idk if anyone knows what the right answer#is for this kinda thing#we still don't know that much about it tbf#there are no winners with big corps
