tbh I've been drifting away from FR for a while now (since around the Undertide release) because all of a sudden, scrying new dragons felt less fun and more like an overwhelming chore with all the exclusive Ancient options, so I'm feeling pretty vindicated seeing other people say the Ancients have clearly been too much too soon with these delayed gene 'fixes'
#scrying gen1s (and scrying them with accents) went from like a 0.5-1 hr task to a 2+ hr task#and i just don't have that juice for every dragon in my hibden#cause like if a gene combo works on a modern it'll work on most other moderns#but I have to check every ancient for whatever funky color changing genes/line-breaker terts they might have#and now maybe they'll be fucking with your ancient's genes months after release :/
