I’m starting six of crows bc I convinced a friend of mine to read an ember in the ashes so she gave me a series to read. And the only things I’ve been able to stand reading are like blatant wish fulfillment romance fantasies and deeply disturbing horror novels. So getting into a book with actual substance that ISNT horror or baiting me in with a romance I can latch to not is going to be difficult but I will still do it o7
