I really appreciate Degrassi having positive ( or just neutral) representation of interracial couples where both characters are non-white. I feel like a lot of other media just highlights the differences/tension of a black/white pairing but Degrassi just had couples where they are different races and maybe they pointed out difference in perspective but for the most part they were just normal highschool couples ( Alli/Dallas, Danny/Leia, etc.)

#I wanted at least a storyline tackling anti blackness from the non black person where they had to unlearn it #especially fetishizing because let’s be real this is way too common with ir couples involving a black person irl #but I do like how Degrassi kept pushing the blasian agenda lol #degrassi confessions #degrassi #degrassi the next generation #admin zai
