This is unrelated to reading Sleep No More, but have i ever mentioned my own little pet theory about the 1906 earthquake in the Tobyverse?

Cuz I fully think Amamdine did it.

We know August disappeared shortly before the earthquake, and Amandine would have done nearly anything to get her back.

And a one point in one of the older books (can’t remember which, off the top of my head) Arden says something about how the Last will shake the world, and how her parents could have saved themselves. And also Oleander has said some odd things about Amandine too that sort of line up.

Anyway. That is my theory. Amandine did it.
