So do you think the way Mike was looking at Eddie during his introduction was supposed to convey *something*? I picked up on it immediately like 👀 but people on here don't really talk about it so I thought maybe I'm just delusional even though I found it REALLY obvious 😭

i saw a lot of people talk about it when it first came out its definitely a popular interpretation in the byler fandom. i picked up on it pretty soon too. its just suspicious that they only focus on mike during the entire monologue especially since dustin is right there and he spends way more of this season with eddie. it would have made way more since to focus on dustin in that scene but they chose mike and theres gotta be a reason for that. and the way mike grew his hair out and has more of an edgy style because of him is pretty telling. he looks up to him in like a role model kinda way. i think to him hes the kinda person that makes him confused on if he wants to be him or be with him (obviously im not implying that i ship them or anything nasty like that but he definitely had a little crush on him) which is such a real baby gay experience oh my god.
