I've probably made this post before but I'll say the same thing anyway. I think Charles did Not plan on staying the night at Kevin's on their first date and it wasn't until after they fucked that he realized he either goes home now and breaks social conventions and maybe comes off as an asshole and therefore ruins everything with this man Or he stays leaving Donovan alone the whole night where anything could happen to him so he excuses himself to have a panic attack in Kevin's bathroom until he remembers Josephine visiting him when he was unpacking and offering to help out and also babysit whenever he needs it and calls her to ask if she can (she does)
#he was so afraid Josephine wouldnt even be awake but luckily she doesnt sleep ever so she was <3#also I think as a small kid who just went through a big move Donnie was asleep when Charles left and still asleep by the time he came back#little guy needed some rest!#but Charles comes across as soooo calm and put together and he frequently is! but dont be mistaken he has pathologic levels of anxiety#go boy immediately panic and assume the worst about how your relationships are going we love a failwife#joyousposting
