Definition of organizational behavior

Organizational behavior, also known just as OB, is a field of study that investigates the behavior of individuals, groups and the structure working within an organization with the purpose of applying this knowledge gained towards improving the organization effectiveness. In other words, OB studies how people think and act and how it impacts the organization.

We can say that the success of an organization largely depends on the effective management of its employees. Their behavior is driven by their ideas, feelings and attitudes.
