Business Immigration Attorney copy 2017-11-16 09:35:06
We are actively seeking an experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join an Immigration Law Firm that has been in the industry for over 25+ years located in the Pasadena area. This candidate will be working along side with other attorneys and staff. It is common for a position of this seniority to manage multiple business immigration matters and will be responsible to manage case managers in the filing of assigned immigration case work.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all aspects of business immigration law
Preparation of immigrant and non-immigrant visas and naturalization applications
Analyze and recommend multiple legal strategies
Review and process immigration documents
Maintain a high-level of communication with all clients
Oversee and manage a team of case managers in case preparation work
Assign and prioritize case work and projects as needed
Train case managers
Establish and maintain case work quality and consistency throughout the office
Liaise with other attorneys in the firm and share all information regarding case preparation
Maintain accuracy in high volume, rapid turnover caseload
Participate in other office projects as assigned
Participate in all staff training sessions and staff meetings.
Attend client consultation meetings
Assist client/employees with technical issues in completing questionnaires and submitting documents
Consistently enter billing time entries for all services performed
Skills:
Must be able to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple projects in a fast paced environment
Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
Ability to work effectively with others with great interpersonal skills
Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and have the drive to ensure a successful outcome
Must have excellent English writing and oral communications skills
Excellent computer skills required including online research and preferably Microsoft Office Suite and/or Microsoft Office 365
Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the business immigration field
Must have knowledge of and experience with E, L, O, EB-1A, and EB-1C visas, as well as Schedule A Group II
Knowledge of USCIS and NVC policies and procedures
J.D. degree and must have passed a state bar examination with valid license to practice law in the U.S.
Experience with litigation, real property transactions, and/or corporate law is a plus
