I'm all in on supporting environmental causes, but I don't believe asking individuals to make sacrifices is what's needed in most places. We need to change the root of the issues - capitalism. Pretty much every environmental issue comes back to that.
#like big businesses doing whatever they want#businesses wasting resourced for money (gen ai / junk products that need quick replacement / etc)#businesses wasting so many resources on ads#selling land for profits and development that fully prioritizes profit over environmental considerations#etc#important things#(i will say there are cases where i believe its worth asking individuals for things but the case in mind is VERY specific)
