How are you pronouncing Yuri so it doesn't rhyme with Missouri

i think i pronounce yuri the same way everyone else does. Instead of pronouncing Missouri “Mizz-er-ie” as in rhymes with misery, I say “Mizz-er-uh” as in rhymes with um. bureau? thorough? those are all affected. Zathura?
