Amos is hide and seek grand champion!

Those wood chips were under his litter box to catch any mistakes while potty training.  Apparently, the little dude's epic overnight bunstruction project required ALL of the wood chips to be re-located to the center of his cage.

He was very proud of himself and startled me by hopping over and licking my nose in greeting (he's never done that before).  How could I possibly scold him after that?!  Amos is sneaky smart!

Made some mistakes in my Chewy order.

The first: the medium size litter box I got is ENTIRELY too small. It is exactly the length of Shion's body when he's just chillin, so he can't melt in it. The litter boxes they use now are plastic and have lots of sharp jagged edges from being the subject of midnight bunstruction. So I will need to get another one eventually.

Second mistake: only 1 bag of pellets. I used to have them on autoship, but getting 2 bags every 2 weeks was too much. So I changed it to 3 weeks. Still too much. I ended up canceling autoship so I can just order it when I need it.

i sat down in Smooch’s area to fight a genshin impact boss on my phone, completely unaware that i, too, had entered into a boss battle of my own irl

Smooch started climbing on me, nipping me, digging on me, nudging me… basically just attacking me relentlessly. at first i thought it was bc i was sitting in a spot he typically likes to be in, but he was still climbing on me and nudging me after i moved (possibly also a few nips, idk)

as soon as i finished the boss fight, i snapped my teeth and snarled at him and he BOLTED. i was like ‘oops that might have been too effective’ but then he hopped right back over to me lmao
