October Project Pan Update

I’m well aware that October is basically done, but let’s face it, life has been hectic to say the least. At least I’m passing my classes LOL

Empty Item 80 - Estee Lauder Beautiful mini perfume - I actually really loved this perfume, and would definitely repurchase if I didn’t already have another mini sized one stashed away! (It sounds odd, but both of them were received as parts of larger sets over the past few years)

Empty Item 81 - Yes, I am WELL aware that it’s a children’s spray, but hell, it works and it smells nice. I already repurchased this one/a similar one (different scent, same type product). My hair gets tangled easily if I don’t braid it/put it into a bun/whatever on super windy days/if I go swimming/when I go to sleep/etc, and the feeling of hair tugging on a brush literally makes me cringe. I’m happy to say that this product negates 90% of that awful feeling, so definitely works for me!

Empty Item 82 - This is actually part of a multipack that was bought at... Ross? Marshalls? Similar? I mean, it worked OK, nothing insane or that I would go out of my way for, but it’s definitely functional in a pinch. Should note that for waterproof/longwear makeup, it did require several passes or a bit of scrubbing to get most/all of the product off my face, and even then, things like lipstick would still leave a stain in some cases.

Empty Item 83 - Sephora Brush Cleanser - So officially, this one isn’t 100% done, but damaging my brushes trying to get the little ring of soap left around the edges isn’t worth it to me. I’ve repurchased this one several times over, as it works VERY well, even for getting my brushes with white bristles sparkling clean again, and I enjoy the fact that it comes with a little silicone scrubby ‘mat’ in the top of the lid to help you clean your brushes.

That being said, while it does work VERY well and I prefer solid brush cleansers over liquid cleansers, The price on this can be a bit steep ($14 + sales tax for the full size). While it does last me quite a while of semi-regular use, I would ideally like to find a cheaper alternative for it.

Empty Item 84 - Clean & Clear Cream Cleanser - I really enjoyed this product, and while I initially bought this item for travel purposes, I would definitely repurchase this in a full size after I use out some of my existing face cleansers. I feel like this gave me the perfect balance between gentle enough that my face doesn’t get dried and peel, but strong enough that I’m not left with an oily film or makeup still on my face after using this.

Empty Item 85 - Nexxus Keraphix Hair Mask - So let me preface this by saying that I didn’t exactly buy this, it came as part of one of those Target/Walmart beauty box things, so it was a bit of a ‘surprise’. That being said, I did use it, and I enjoyed the way that it made my hair feel. However, I was not a fan of the smell of it. It didn’t smell like it went off or was otherwise unfit to use, but it smelled... chemical-y? It wasn’t bad enough to not want to use it, but it means that I probably won’t be choosing this hair mask again in the future.

Side note - I noticed that even though this was a single-use item, it took me next to forever to get around to using it, simply because i am a lazy person and if things aren’t where I can easily access them, it won’t get used. If my hair masks/mousse/whatever aren’t in the bathroom, it probably won’t get used. It my makeup is put away in a drawer, and not on top of my dresser, I likely won’t go out of my way to put anything on my face unless it’s a special event (vs if it’s out and easily accessed, I’ll at least swipe on some lipstick most days before leaving for work or school).

Empty Item 86 - Burberry Body Mini Perfume - I fucking LOVED this perfume, and my only complaint is that this was a mini sized perfume, so it ran out sooner than I wanted LOL. I didn’t know that it was going to be a favorite of mine until AFTER I opened it and started using it, as I got it as part of a set last Christmas. Would definitely repurchase this after using out some of the many mini and sample sized perfumes I’ve got hoarded away.

E gata și vacanța și credeți-mă, am tras de ea… mi-am mai luat încă o săptămână liber și nu m-am dus ca tot studentul la facultate, din prima zi. Dar gata cu lenevitul! Cu chiu cu vai m-am întors în București să încep al doilea an de facultate.

Vremea însorită nu vrea să ne părăsească (nu că ne-am dori asta…), însă toamna începe să își facă simțită prezența. Din păcate, odată cu venirea frigului, apar și modificări ale pielii, tenului și ale părului, dar noroc de produsele de îngrijire care ne salvează.

Se știe că toamna pielea se usucă, iar podoaba capilară și tenul devin mai sensibile, frigul, vântul, praful și vremea schimbătoare fiind factorii care pot afecta sănătatea lor. De aceea este necesar să luăm măsuri și să ne protejăm de factorii externi din natură ca să arătăm fresh indiferent de anotimp.

Pentru că Nivea s-a gândit la toate, mi-a trimis un kit de toamnă special pentru îngrijirea pielii și a părului. Am și desfăcut nerăbdătoare cutia cu surprize imediat ce a ajuns în mâinile mele.

Haideți să vedeți și voi ce am descoperit în autumnbox-ul ăsta!

Ce am găsit, ce am găsit? Cunoscuta Apă Micelară Waterproof Micellair Skin Breath. M-am bucurat că am primit-o pentru că-mi doream să o încerc. Este apreciată pentru formula bifazică îmbogățită cu extract de ceai negru și pentru uleiul uscat care nu lasă senzație grasă.

Produsul curăță rapid și ușor tenul de machiajul rezistent și de mascara waterproof, care poate să dea de cele mai multe ori bătăi de cap în timpul demachierii. Fetelor, pentru a vă menține tenul sănătos, nu uitați să vă curățați fața cel puțin de două ori pe zi, dimineața și seara!

În anotimpul rece obișnuim să aplicăm mai mult machiaj pentru a ne feri tenul de efectele negative asupra lui. Și pentru ca machiajul să fie strălucitor și demn de filmele de la Hollywood este nevoie întotdeauna de o bază care să fie folosită înainte de aplicarea lui. Și ce poate fi mai bun decât make-up base-ul Hydra Primer de la Nivea, care ne protejează tenul?

Baza pentru machiaj împiedică particulele de praf să astupe porii și permite aplicarea ușoară a fondului de ten. Aceasta controlează excesul de sebum și hidratează tenul uscat fără să fie necesară o cremă specială tocmai pentru asta. Acum că ați aplicat baza, vă puteți apuca de realizarea unui machiaj cool, de toamnă, numai bun pentru o nouă zi de studiu!

Șervețelele micelare demachiante 3in1 sunt benefice pentru curățarea zilnică a tenului, îndepărtarea impurităților machiajului rezistent la apă și protejarea genelor. Atunci când nu aveți suficient timp să vă demachiați, șervețelele micelare sunt asul din mânecă!

Mai mult decât atât, nu trebuie să vă clătiți pe față după utilizarea lor. Oh, ��i încă ceva…nu uitați că pentru a vă feri tenul de bacterii și de apariția imperfecțiunilor trebuie să vă spălați regulat pensulele cu soluție specială și să vă curățați telefonul mobil cu spirt sau cu un șervetel umed antibacterian!

Nivea m-a mai surprins și cu Loțiunea Cherry Blossom & Jojoba Oil pe care aștept cu entuziasm să o folosesc. Acum sigur o să mă simt răsfățată! Loțiunea îmi promite o hidratare de calitate, o absorbție rapidă în piele și o mireasmă de flori de cireș și ulei de jojoba.

Să nu uităm că cireșele în cosmetică revitalizează și curăță tenul, și conțin o cantitate mare de silicon care ajută la menținerea sănătății unghiilor, a cuticulelor uscate, dar și a părului. Uleiul de jojoba are efecte pozitive asupra tenului gras, controlează excesul de sebum al pielii și tratează acneea. Este esențial, de asemenea, pentru hidratarea buzelor, mâinilor și călcâielor uscate.

Nu știu de voi, dar mie, când este ger afară, mi se usucă mâinile, ba chiar uneori mi se crapă și simt o nevoie continuă de a mi le trata și îngriji. Crema de mâini cu vanilie și ulei de migdale este perfectă pentru îngrijirea lor pe o vreme uscată și neprietenoasă.

Vanilia îngrijește pielea, îi dă un aspect luminos și ferm, depigmentează porțiunile de piele afectate de soare. Ea este folosită în diferite tratamente pentru combaterea anumitor tipuri de cancer, reglarea menstruației, reducerea stresului, depresiei și insomniei.
