Spotify Wrapped making me question my own perception of reality this year.

(How did Your Needs My Needs not make top 5? Why is TBS there?? How did Hozier have 0 top 5 songs??? And why does Wrapped NEVER match Stats for Spotify?)

Tested out some old Too Faced lipstick (Unicorn Tears) and forgot that shit is impossible to get off once it’s on so now I guess I’m committed to blue sparkly lips for this show 💀

My internet was out all afternoon so I thought I would take the time to practice looser/quicker drawings.

God it’s so hard. I “finished” and all I can see is how it needs refined.

Also hopefully posting from mobile doesn’t nerf the quality too badly.

((Kind of considering splitting the difference and doing the more muted colors with solid line work. I think I like the shading better in the second version. Idk idk decision paralysis.))

Spotify Wrapped Time!!! My favorite time of year!!! I love seeing other peoples wraps!

Anyways, Spotify was being a little bitch about letting me save stuff so ugly screenshots will have to do.

Actually didn’t realize I listened to enough Waterparks at the beginning of the year for them to be a top artist.

Also did not think I listened to Warm Me Up that many times?? I’m so perplexed as to how that song is there.

I love the calendar/heatmap graph so much. It’s so fun watching the obsession change from season to season. But also you can see where Hozier falls off after seeing him live in September and immediately being replaced by Bad Omens.

I clearly go through phases of just listening to one artist on repeat which always makes wrapped a little funny. I swear I listened to more than 5 artists this year!

Knowing the way that I am I think it might be a good idea to set limits for myself with the whole art fight event.

I think maybe I’ll limit myself to ~1 hour per drawing max so I can’t get too carried away. Limit myself to only a couple drawings a day too so I don’t entirely burn out and still have time for my projects. Plus the end of July will be insanely busy. We have another con plus my husband and sister in laws birthdays. And we’re hosting her during that time.

I also need to finish all of my prep stuff. Really want to finish Matisse’s character sheet if nothing else, but also really want to get Lily and Azyr’s made too. That’s a lot of work for the next week though…

I need more hours in the day 😥

If this comic adventure has taught me anything it’s that I’m both a perfectionist in the worst way and I need to find a way to simplify my drawings/process to make it faster.

I bought a back brace to help with my posture since I'm at a desk 90% of my day. . .

Wearing it while sitting down to draw tonight and jfc my drawing posture is bad bad. Like, it's no wonder my back is fucked.
